Yep. Our former executive employee was fired for cause, stole a bunch of proprietary company secrets as he was leaving, and now he wants his old job back.
To add, and now that they remove their support, they act like it's for moral reasons as though he had fooled them or like he'd finally gone too far in the last several months. That's what bothers people, the continued pretension of their own moral superiority while they climb out of the same muck they've happily bathed in for the last 6 years. It's the equivalent of Faust appealing to God and acting like the Devil had somehow tricked him into the deal for his soul, despite Faust clearly reveling in the benefits of said deal before the payment came due.
I have actually said in previous posts that the political Evangelicals entered into a Faustian bargain with the Orange Devil in effect selling their souls to have Roe v Wade overturned.
Such BS. Trump didn’t use evangelicals one bit. Not a single evangelical thought Trump was sincere. They just knew he was effective. They deserve the contempt that they earned.
He doesn't, he simply projecting like many liberals like to do when they try and explain people's support for opposing views.
I would think that many or most evangelicals share the view of Donnie Swaggart, who proclaimed from the pulpit, after Roe v. Wade was overturned, that God used Trump "to save millions of babies' lives." Swaggart also made reference to the millions of slain babies now being in heaven. There must be one hell of a, no, wait, I mean one heaven of a nursery up there.
Nobody knows what's inside a person's heart although one can make reasonable inferences based on what a persons says and how that person behaves. Speaking of the former president. Trump: I hope I don't have to ask 'for much forgiveness' from God Sure people can change and once again citing the former president, based on his rhetoric and behavior it also appears that he hasn't changed in decades. As far as the political evangelicals are concerned to the extent that they may have changed with respect to their support of the former president and that's by knows means certain it only because their marriage of convenience to the Orange One has become less convenient and there appears to be a more attractive alternative.
Kind of hilarious getting a lecture by a nationalist-right winger on intransigence of position in opposition to change.
