Yea, but on the other hand, it seems that the mindset here for every guy leaving is " no loss we have better freshmen coming in, etc etc.". Hope that's right, but I'm not counting on freshmen starters very often.

I’ll worry if Pearsall goes into the portal. He came back so obviously saw something there that would improve his stock for the next level. XH was marginal and probably saw the younger guys were going to take his reps so he bolted. Chill
Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think anyone is happy to see either Henderson or Powell go. It just gets annoying when fans act like we are an outlier with portal activity. It’s happening all across CFB. I might be concerned if it was a bunch of his own recruits that were baling, but that’s not the case.

Sure, but it seems many here always think the younger guy is the better player without ever seeing him vs quality competition.
Coaches make depth charts and players do what they think is best. Five tds in three years sums it up pretty well.
This might be because CBN is gonna play young cats- something mullen wouldn’t- which I’m happy with- but you don’t lose 3 coaches after year 1 and 2 starting OL who are now staring at USC, 2 top LBs now at Utah and Mizzou, top DB now at TCU, evaluate MERTZ as the best option out there????, lose arguably your best WR and fail to bring in several of your top targets in recruiting if everything is going well. It’s a bland offense that nobody wants to play in, we lost 3 of our last 4, lost to all our rivals, lost to Kentucky and Vandy IN THE SAME SEASON- botched the Rashada deal- Now you can argue that he’s w the program back up and each of those things will end up being in the rear view and work out - but don’t tell me this doesn’t have a very Mischampian/Derek Dooley vibe. Let’s circle back in a year and see if any progress has been made and in 2-3 years- let’s see if CBN is still here- and then we can say the writing was on the wall in year 1. I’m willing to admit I’m wrong and I’m rooting like hell to be… but if this doesn’t work out are the sunshine pumpers gonna admit they were wrong? No. Cuz nobody who defended Muschamp or Mullen of shark pants ever circled back and said “well we called all of you negative gators but turns out you were right all along”. That never happens. These are the same arguments we’ve had for 12 years. Half of us see problems and the other half make excuses and yell at us for being “bad gator fans” I’ve never been less invested as a gator. Interested but not invested. I was out at a lake today and there were a bunch of students… and you know what they were saying? They were making fun of gator football and saying how sad it is. It was awful. They aren’t excited about CBN. Kiffen is trolling us for a 10-7 spring game, blow out to Oregon state in the bowl game… what do we have that points to this being a fun, exciting time to be a gator?
