Wouldn't it be nice.....to check rankings on Sunday and see the Gators ranked and moving up

Because of business, College Football draws a ton of media attention that wants to spin information we used to get from Athlon or the like. Remember the old days when an SEC team would get 2 or three pages that included, the roster, position analysis and recruiting info! Lol

I do like the podcaters, UF has some good ones. I follow 3 - 4 of them somewhat regularly.

It's become quite the media business, has college football.

I wonder when so many people here got so jaded. If we beat the #9 ranked team in the nation then we should pop into the top 25.

And although I do understand what some of the prognosticators need to see... our ranking should not be based on age, nor should it be based on their prediction of our final record. It should be based on wins, and who we beat. Beating the #9 team in the nation still carries weight.
