Ray, open your Bible to the 4 Gospels in the New Testament and read all the places where people came to Jesus for healing. There’s about 19 of them where certain individuals were healed… delivered from sickness and diseases and weaknesses in their body. There are also places in the Book of Acts that tell of others being healed.

Read those stories where they came to Jesus and went home totally healed, delivered, and set free.

Read them and look at what Jesus, Peter, and Paul said and did… that caused those sick and diseased and paralyzed even demon controlled people to be made totally well, delivered, and set free.

Look for the common denominator that opened the door for those people to be healed and delivered from their ailments. Reading those stories over and over will give you faith, feed your faith, cause your heart to believe, and your mouth to speak. Speaking what you believe from God’s word releases the power of God.

You don’t have to lose the battle with sickness and disease. You can overcome when you know what to do. God is for you, but the Devil is against you. Only believe and do what the Word says. It’s powerful.

If you need to, look up things like “Healing stories in the New Testament” on your computer or cell phone. That will show you where those stories are located. The stories will give you faith, feed your faith, and show you what they did to bring healing to their bodies and lives.

Jesus cares about you, and so do His faithful followers. We want to see you well.

    Praying for you!

DawgFanFromAlabama, this one’s for you too.
And for anyone that needs God’s help.

    Go Gators!

Ray, I'm sending you healing thoughts and prayers. I picture you shrouded in God's healing light.

One of my favorite Poems of faith. It always chokes me up...

    Footprints in the Sand

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he
questioned the Lord about it: "Lord,
you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way".

But I have noticed that during the most
    troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
    I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."

The Lord replied: "My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

    by Mary Stevenson

    Love ya, Ray.

    Go Gators.:)

No, not really. Was in Lakeland General Hospital for about 4 days. Now at OPIS Highlands Lake Center. A center where we have Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Don’t know how long I’ll be here. Frankly, some therapy people, I can see are better than others. One young Doctor I think was wrong about one of the problems I was having. Now I think I should have given him my opinion on the one item in question. But trying to be respectful l guess.

In my experience, doctors are trained for triage & less extensively for thinking about difficult cases. They tend to rely on what has worked with previous patients. Some doctors seem to discount the patient's input, don't let them. Ask questions, take notes, record symptoms - think like a problem solver. Ask for a consultation with another doctor if you don't get answers you need.

After a recent surgery, my primary PT was inexperienced & a bit small so she couldn't manipulate me in some ways. But she did push me. They also had a very experienced guy for about half of my sessions - he was great, even though I sometimes wondered if he was doing too much (turns out he wasn't). Without him I wouldn't have had such a good outcome. I also influenced the therapists to get insurance to approve an extended number of PT sessions, which really helped.

Don't give up, humans are pretty adaptable.

Well, here at the Opis Rehab Center, nurses get a B at best. Chow gets a C at best.

Have to say Lakeland Regional Hospital will get an A on everything.
