The downsides here are the possibility of a lawsuit. Some man is going to lawyer up and make a killing and take one of these organization to the cleaners. And that could produce enough fear to make the organizations that set the rules act in a risk averse manner.

International committees don’t care. The biggest track and field completions are mostly held in Europe.

Florida does not have real problems. We are good. But we end up with these outlier stories from weak minded scared people occasionally who try to agitate. Good news is Florida ignores childlike behavior…

It's hypothetical since I don't have a young child and although I wouldn't specifically have tried to find a drag queen story hour it would not have bothered me if my son attended one when he was of preschool age. In any event I'm not obsessed with the issue of drag as some on the right appear to be. Maybe they think I made a mistake by letting him watch "Mrs. Doubtfire".

As a point of information back in the '90s when my son was in the early elementary school grades the same type of religious fanatics that are obsessed with drag queen story hours were obsessed with a child's book entitled "Heather Has Two Mommies". I do not know whether or not it was available in my son's elementary school but he did learn that same sex couples with children based on the actual experience of one of his classmates who literally did have two mommies. Maybe I'm mistaken but I don't think the experience of having a classmate who was the daughter of a lesbian couple adversely affected the girl, my son or any of his other classmates. As point of information I believe that her biological mother was in a conventional marriage prior to her same sex relationship. Just speculation since it was clearly none of my business.

Agree with Navratilova that this what all major sports should do. Simple solution.

Martina Navratilova says banning trans athletes from women's events a 'step in the right direction' | Daily Mail Online

'I think the best idea would be to have “biological female” and “biological girls” categories and then an “open” category.

'It would be a category for all-comers: men who identify as men; women who identify as women; women who identify as men; men who identify as women; non-binary — it would be a catch-all.'

LMFAO! So you can't tell us what a man or a woman are without even telling us you don't know.

I think that we can all agree that's inappropriate not to mention truly grotesque and disgusting and should be prohibited. That being said it's not remotely similar to a performer in drag reading to children. As I previously stated Drag Queen Derangement Syndrome is real and it has reached epidemic proportions.

This is how we get rid of the whole "what I identify as". Have 3 categories: Male, female and whatever the hell you want to be.

Male powerlifter protests Canada's self-ID rules by entering female contest and smashing record | Daily Mail Online

This is the moment a male coach claims to be a woman and smashes the female bench press record at a powerlifting competition in Canada.

Bearded Avi Silverberg is shown calmly approaching the bench in men's clothing as part of a protest against gender self-identification policies in sport.

Silverberg then unofficially breaks the female bench press record for the 84+ kilograms women's category, which was a 270lbs press - officially set by a trans lifter.

Progressives Across Nation Locked Out Of Bank Accounts After CAPTCHA Asks 'Select All Squares That Contain A Woman'
NEW HAVEN, CT — Progressives across the nation have found themselves locked out of their accounts after CAPTCHA began asking users to identify what squares show a woman.

"I'm not a biologist!" cried local man Lucas Fitzgerald. "What kind of sick joke is this?" :emoji_joy:

Given that the face of the seated person was blurred, I assumed it was a kid whose identity was being protected, particularly since they usually don't have a problem showing the faces of adults in these settings. But if you look under the second set of pictures, the article states that the seated person "is believed to be a student from the college." If that's the case, then it wasn't a minor being touched or getting danced upon. People can still debate if minors should have been there at all, but if the person in the chair was, in fact, an adult, I think they may have gone out of their way to suggest otherwise.

What do you know, a boy transitions to a girl and is now top 5 in the state. Crazy the crap we allow these days.

Fury as sophomore transgender runner Soren Stark-Chessa, 16, dominates girls' races and rises to 4th in rankings - after coming 172nd while racing as a boy | Daily Mail Online

A trans high school sophomore in Maine has faced criticism for competing in the girls' 5k cross-country competition, despite running last year as a boy.

Soren Stark-Chessa, a pupil at the private Maine Coast Waldorf School in Freeport, was ranked 172nd in the district as a freshman in the boy's competition.

Over the course of the last year, Stark-Chessa transitioned, and now, as a sophomore, races in the girls' competitions - where she is ranked fourth.
