Most here don’t follow the women, and in recent times with good reason. The ladies were not expected to be very good due to the coaching turmoil. But: The ladies are 9-3 with the last two wins coming against quality teams. (Dayton, expected to win their conference, and FSU) Surprising? The men are 7-3. Surprising some, disappointing to others. The men’s rpi currently is 109. The women’s rpi is currently 36. The men have a reputation for tenacious defense but can’t seem to shoot well.
