But will he? It's his decision and he has to give up the reigns. If it is Korn, his team is done now so it better be soon, if not, don't look for Napier to change.

But it also doesn't show how many times the Defenses porous play caused the offensive game plan to change because they couldn't keep the score in check, causing a preferred balanced play calling to become dimensional and forced to pass to catch up on the score board. Imagine of the defense could keep the opponent around 20 points. Having to score more than 40 points because the defense can't keep the opps score below that is asking a lot of a offense.

It's Liberty...... you think if Oregon had Jamie Chadwells/liberty's playbook they would only score 6 points?

I had a dentist appointment this morning and the. went straight to work, so I missed out on the big announcement. I need everyone to fill me in on all the details about our new OC. When does he start? For some reason I didn’t see anything on the internet about it.

I think part of the reason for the ridiculous buyouts is coaches know the impatient fan base isn’t going to give him more than 3 years to turn their team into a championship contender unless he can perform miracles. So the contract is written to cover him in the event he gets the rug jerked out from under him before he can do his job the right way. I get it. The numbers are absurd but hey, that’s what Americans are willing to pay for entertainment

I agree. I think Michigan is a much closer analog to UF than Vandy is. Both top 5 public schools (or top 6 depending on which ranking). Both are in the 20s of all Universities. Both have undergraduate enrollments of around 35 kilostudents. Obviously different athletic conferences, but I think we are much more similar to Michigan.

This is one of those times that I'm sure it sounded way funnier in your head than it actually came across in text.....

Go back and read the post you responded to, and then read your response. The multiple insults are totally unnecessary.

still hope. The timing just means the future OC is currently with Washington or Michigan.

Correct. The problem is that the schools have shown no hesitancy to spend other people's money on these crazy buyouts so even they aren't effective as the vote of confidence to a recruit that they should be.

UNLV only scored 7 against Michigan this year. Looks like we can’t hire Marion Brennan either.

I'll take anybody over Napier as OC. Napier needs to be a full-time head coach.

For all we know he could be swinging and missing. They have been able to keep most hires quite other than Harris.

That’s a pretty good comeback. It happens that way sometimes but I’m going to keep trying.

Napier needs to turn to these forums. There are a lot of coaches in waiting around here.
