The “ Captain “ is the reason I started watching basketball. Rest in peace Willis.

Reed, Dave D, Bradley, Jerry, Phil Jackson, Earl the Pearl and of course the ULTIMATE "cool" cat - Walt Frazier.

    Good team.

My older brother was in the USAF back in those days in Thailand. He told me that they called Earl Monroe the Thai word for black pearl.

Willis Reed really was injured and came back.

MJ really had the flu and played.

But in 2000 Mateen Cleaves acted like he was seriously injured until he thought that the cameras were off him and then he walked normally to the lockerroom. There was a camera shot of this.

His "miracle" comeback in the finals was a joke.

I have no respect for him.
