Will Richard's defense to start the 2nd half kept UF in the game

His offense kept the game from really getting out of hand in the first half. And causing the turnover off the knee late was maybe the defensive play of the game.

 

He carried us in the 1st half. Very fortunate to be down 3 instead of 15 with all those early turnovers. Basically Richard was the only guy on either team hitting anything outside.

Houston really did a great job taking Clayton out of his game, but Clayton had 7 assists and I think most of those were 1st half so while his shot wasn’t falling early he was doing ok distributing (albeit with a couple of bonkers turnovers). Golden made that great adjustment late to get Clayton some chances off the ball. One led to the back-cut for an and-one and the other Clayton FINALLY got a clean look for 3. We needed all of it.
