Wide Receiver WR & Tight End TE recruiting 2022 and beyond discussion thread

Do we have room for Mizell, Wilson and Jean? The way things are going with DB recruiting, the coaches might have to move Wilson to CB.

 

Got a CB for us today

 

He really thinks he is a good enough receiver to play the money game? He has a nice ranking, but I don't see it.

 

I guess Scum could play keep away.

I thought that we were looking at Gates as a DB. He does have good agility that could make him a playmaker if he has the speed. That's a lot of slot type receivers also.

 

You are correct…gates being recruited as a safety I believe or possibly NB

 

Who ? Is he related to Prince or does he have an actual name.

 

EW3 is better

 

Miami having trouble with local (south fla) WR recruiting....even with JR. Hope they don't go after ours.

 

Don’t they have 2 4* wrs from sfla?

 

Mizell and Whittemore are badly underrated. Mizell is ranked #9 with On3.

 

Does EW3 weigh more than 160lbs?

 

Coming out of track season, probably not.

With Sorey entering the picture, I think it's highly doubtful that we get both Mizell and Jean. Assuming we're still out front for Mizell, I think if/when Sorey pops, we might cool on Jean (or look to drop Patterson). Don't see us taking 6 WR's.
