Definitely not slow, but I wouldn’t say he’s all that fast haha.

I actually forgot about Whittemore. I feel like he’s one of our more reliable guys and had some nice catches when trask was throwing him the ball, before the injury. I feel like we haven’t been able to really see him showcase his talent yet, but I’m excited to see what he can do next year.

He really is solid. I still go back to his grab against South Carolina as a freshman.

While I cannot be sure it was Mario, I am pretty confident I remember during his recruitment he explicitly stated he did not want to play college ball in Florida - wanted to go out of state and didn’t even really consider any of the Florida schools. Maybe that’s changed but I wouldn’t count on it.

I pretty much agree with this. We have a solid group of receivers but nobody that really scares anyone. Maybe one of the two freshmen from last year? I think maybe Napier bigger fish to fry right now

  6. While I believe that he's working on the whole roster, I believe you're right in the sense that he's really concentrating on both lines of scrimmage... Without these, the skill positions are useless.

Napier calls his wide receivers, wide blockers. We may be good with the guys on the team as BG really emphasized blocking. We do need a guy like Henderson to stretch the defense though.

Something about Hendo makes me think he can break out with a QB who can see the field. I know he got a “bad” rep for his work as a PR but that’s not on him, that was on Knox but I still think he can be a modern Dallas Baker at worst and Roy Williams at his best.

With the right QB Whittemore would be a 3rd down machine....he's the guy that gets just past the chains, finds a seam, and makes the catch. Totally underutilized IMO

None of our receivers were properly utilized last year unfortunately. Hopefully a new quarterback situation changes that this year.

There's a reason I wasn't as enthusiastic about Copeland leaving as the rest of the board was. Off-field stuff is what it is, and maybe a transfer was necessary, but we're not really in a position to look askance at 642 receiving yards at 15.7 yards per catch.

If Gamble doesn't come back, the pass catching group next year is basically Shorter and hoping that Henderson breaks out.

Seems like Whit gets forgotten more than once. Best hands on the team and could be a great asset if utilized the right way.Better athlete thank he gets credit for.

    Whit gets forgotten again.
    Burke has some special potential.

Think he could be a great Pitts style TE....going to be interesting to see how UF handles him and Danny Lewis as options

I’m not sure how much these guys get paid, but it can’t be much at this level.
