Why won't Harris agree to more debates?

I hear you but the very next thought must be…Kamala.
And for me that is equally if not worse.

I’d like to see at least one debate so that maybe the Pubs can finally see who they put up, and maybe put the pressure of the Party to make him drop out. At the last debate, all of Trump’s gaffes and lies were hidden behind the mind-boggling awful performance by Biden.

Kind of like how guns in public are great but you can't bring them into an NRA convention or to any republican's speech?

    According to Trump
Fact Check: Photo from Harris-Walz rally in Michigan was not AI-generated | Reuters
The Harris campaign’s @KamalaHQ account on X, responding to Trump’s post, said, “This is an actual photo of a 15,000-person crowd for Harris-Walz in Michigan.” A campaign official told Reuters in an email that the photo was taken by a Harris campaign staff member “and not modified by AI in any way.”
    OTHER MEDIA SHOW CROWDS
Photos and videos from media sources at the rally also show thousands of supporters in the crowd. Reuters photographers captured the Democratic presidential candidate and vice presidential runningmate exiting Air Force Two for a campaign rally at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport in Romulus, Michigan. An aerial image of the rally by photographer Amy Lemus of NurPhoto Agency said in the caption that supporters overflowed the hanger seating area at the airport.

Probably don't worry too much since obama will be the one running things anyway. :D

What is a debate going to tell anyone about Trump that we don’t already know? Harris is new, unknown, and it taking her message to the people with great success. She should do whatever works best for her. I’m fine with one debate, if Trump will even shows up to that….

Harris is running scared. Won't talk to the media, won't give interviews. She's worthless.

Curious how checking ID makes an event safe? Maybe it's like at the airport where they scan it and you pop up on a computer screen? I really don't know. What I do know is that having an ID to vote is common sense.

Side note: it's entertaining to hear the Harris campaign brag about crowd sizes after the Dems mocked Trump for years talking about his crowd sizes...

I suppose it’s no surprise that you missed the entire point of the Dems “bragging” about crowd size. They’re mocking Trump and the Trumpeteers. Quite successfully, too.

Be honest. Those criticisms were not about referring to crowd size; the criticisms related to Trump's lies about crowd size.

Trump was mocked for exaggerating crowd sizes. It was the exaggeration of the crowd size at his inauguration which was considerably smaller that that of Obama's 2008 inauguration that resulted in Kellyanne Conway coining the term "alternative facts" and most recently Trump claimed the size of his crowd at the January 6th rally was larger than that of Martin Luther King's 1963 March on Washington in which he gave his "I have a dream" speech. The only problem was that the crowd at the King speech was at least four times as large as the crowd at Trump's January 6th rally.

It appeared that they were marching IDs to the names on tickets, so at least they would have a log of everyone’s identity. Perhaps they are trying to avoid scalping, I don’t know. Either way, it’s a separate issue from voter IDs.

Though on the topic of voter IDs, a solution might be to just have a public initiative to get everyone an ID. Then both sides get what they want.

If Harris only participates in a single debate it will still be more than the number of debates in which Trump participated during the Republican primaries. In the end she will probably agree to three debates and although he will not be pleased there is no way she will let the defeated former president define the terms of any of the debates.

Hugh Hewitt’s Scathingly REALISTIC Take On A Kamala Harris Presidency

“Drawing from baseball jargon, Hewitt lists five essential "tools" or skills a president should possess. These include the ability to absorb complex data and make difficult decisions, experience in national security, familiarity with the federal administrative state, effective communication skills, and political negotiation and compromise skills. According to Hewitt, Harris lacks these tools.

While acknowledging Harris's eligibility for the presidency, Hewitt questions her competence based on her career trajectory. He notes her initial failure to pass the California Bar Exam and her roles as an assistant district attorney in San Francisco, Attorney General of California, and a brief stint in the United States Senate. Hewitt argues that these positions do not necessarily indicate her ability to lead the country effectively.
Hewitt criticizes Harris's performance as Vice President, particularly her handling of border issues. He claims that she and President Biden have failed to secure the southern border, leading to over 10 million migrants crossing it without invitation. He also criticizes their spending habits, which he believes have led to ruinous inflation and a lack of significant accomplishments.

Hewitt concludes by warning of the potential damage Harris's left-leaning policies could cause if she were to become president. He criticizes her "campaign of invisibility" and questions the media's complicity in maintaining her silence. In Hewitt's view, Harris would be the least credentialed, least impressive, and least prepared presidential candidate elected in the modern era.“
