I saw this same graph but it showed a comment about the highest output was during Trump's 2nd year. Funny it's not on this picture.

The graph was my screen shot from the EIA portal. Notice any comments about trump's period? Nope. Because serious people don't require partisan bullshit in their data.

How is it on Biden considering that none of the NATO expansion with which Putin objects occurred under Biden although I guess he could have sold Ukraine down the river as Putin had demanded. FYI.

As far as the cut in US oil production is concerned, it's almost entirely attributable to the drop in the price of oil in 2020. Once again, US oil producers cut production when the market price of oil fell below the cost of production and according to my recollection Sleepy Joe wasn't in office at the time. He was holding his drive-in rallies that were ridiculed by the former president who actually was in office.

The freeze applies only to new leases of Federal lands. Oil companies were still free to enter into new leases allowing them to drill on private land. Additionally, oil companies currently hold a significant number of leases on both federal and private land that they have yet to exploit.
“There are 9,000 approved oil leases that oil companies are not currently exploiting”

Saudi, Emirati Leaders Decline Calls With Biden During Ukraine Crisis

The rift between President Biden and Saudi Arabia’s crown prince stretches back to the 2020 campaign, when Mr. Biden criticized the kingdom over the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The White House has worked to repair relations with two key Middle Eastern countries it needs on its side as oil prices push over $130 a barrel for the first time in almost 14 years. Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E. are the only two major oil producers that can pump millions of more barrels of more oil—a capacity that, if used, could help calm the crude market at a time when American gasoline prices are at high levels.

Definitely wouldn't have happened to Trump the way he protected MBS over the Khashoggi murder.

Look at the graph of oil production posted earlier in this thread during the Trump presidency and the Biden presidency. Production levels plummetted from Trump levels when Biden got into office.

Production levels plummeted in March, 2020. Something about a global pandemic comes to mind, and everything in the US shutting down, causing a massive drop in miles driven, which equates to a massive drop in demand. Which lead to a giant drop in oil prices, which meant many domestic rigs weren't profitable to run. If domestic production doesn't beat 2019 records, it will almost assuredly be a record in 2023.

No, production levels plummetted starting in March of 2020, months before the election, let alone when Biden got into office. Just because you don't like Biden doesn't mean you can bear false witness.

Why? Because it is the President and his administration as well as state and local governments. The policies and laws enacted by congress require a Presidential signature. Or in some cases an executive order. Like any other citizen I realize there are multiple factors at play but to assume President Biden and his administration play no role in this at all is myopic to say the least and if the President is going take credit for it on the campaign trail then the President should accept the blame as well. Same holds true for the economy.

And this is the primary reason.
Saudi and Abu Dhabi 'refuse to work to bring down oil prices unless Joe Biden backs them in Yemen'

So, you can't really dispute it, you just don't like it (for some reason)? Sounds about right...
