If he leaves the state, Mark Robinson becomes acting governor.

I actually think she has a pretty great shot against Trump. Shes’s a younger candidate with Biden’s policies…it’s so much of what voters are looking for! I just had the same debate with my mother in law the other day. IF it’s Harris 90% of Trump’s attacks go out the window or potentially really backfire with her being a woman of color.

What a country!! Not too terribly long ago, there was talk of replacing Harris on the Dem ticket in order for Biden to have a chance to win reelection. Now, the left is speculating on who she should choose to be on the ticket as her VP. Wow! Talk about failing up!!

Maybe Harris will try to rekindle the old flame and select slick Willie Brown to be her “running” mate.

In that scenario, which porn lady will Trump select? The one to whom he is currently married or the two with which we know he cheated on her?

Maybe she can pick somebody off of Jeffrey Epstein's list. Oh, I see Donald Trump is on there. That would be an interesting selection. What did that jury find Trump liable of again? Oh right, sexual abuse.

If you don't like our border policies, why did Donald Trump-- your candidate-- push his cronies in the House to defeat the bipartisan Senate Bill that changed the asylum laws?

Are you aware that a migrant presenting his or herself at the border and seeking asylum is legal don't you? The immigrant's application must be considered. It is not a civil or criminal violation?

Maybe not-- or you wouldn't have posted that meme.

BTW: they are "undocumented." Not illegal. And can work.

    Look it up!

What is it about immigrants (and DEI, LBGQT) that so energies Trump supporters when the policies will hurt the economy? Let's just stick to immmigration

    There is this:

MAGA's Migrant Rants Conveniently Leave Out the Economy

Everyone wants a secure border but deporting millions of migrants could have a crippling effect on communities and the country’s economic future.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2024/05/20/trump-immigration-undocumented-economy/

Many economists and business leaders say the job market would suffer amid mass deportations of people already working here, especially in sectors like construction and agriculture, which are still struggling to hire after the worst of the pandemic.

There’s some evidence that pushing immigrants to leave hurts the economy overall. In a 2023 paper, East and other economists studied the labor market effects of Secure Communities, a policy implemented during the Obama administration that let the FBI share fingerprint data of people arrested by state and local law enforcement with other federal officials who could use it to check for immigration violations. The research found that for every 100,000 undocumented immigrant workers forced to leave the country, there were roughly 9,000 fewer jobs held by U.S.-born workers, too.

That’s because many of the jobs undocumented immigrants hold are also crucial to sustaining jobs around them. A restaurant, for example, might hire an undocumented worker as a line cook or to bus tables. The owner also hires servers and hosts — jobs more likely to be filled by native-born workers. If undocumented workers suddenly vanished, that restaurant would have trouble operating. U.S.-born workers are also less likely to want jobs that are seasonal, lower-pay, located in remote places or physically demanding.

After acute shortages during the pandemic, the country is still short about half a million construction workers. In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, that number is around 15,000.

truth is very hard to deal with at this moment I get it.

You are stuck with Kamala Harris. Let that sink in.

you people are so partisan in here you don’t get the point I’m trying to make. This isn’t really even a bash against Democrats; y’all have many many many more capable people in your party to run. The guy from Pennsylvania, name escapes me, is one. Very competent and smart

The delusion is strong on this one. Which voters want Bidens policies? Have you seen his approval rating? Hell, have you seen hers?

When you need hick rubes to vote against their own interests to benefit billionaires, you have to have scapegoats.
