So the DoD let him cut the line to retirement so he could run for congress as an anti-war candidate? That's some 3D chess they were playing.

They have absolutely nothing on him and they know it. Even the DUI from 30 years ago he used as a learning moment in his life and turned around to use it as a teaching moment for both him and his students and he clearly learned from his mistakes. Besides, you have zero credibility going after him on issues involving the law when your candidate was found guilty of 34 felonies.

The right has absolutely nothing to attack him on. We all know it and it’s going to continue to hurt them the more they try it.

Attacking a man on his service record, when your guy is a draft dodger who paid a doctor to give him an "get out of service card".

    That is just weird.

Have y'all given any consideration to why he issued the press release that there was a chance of deployment? Particularly in light of the subsequent events.

Also, is it possible that person believes being a congressman is a higher service to the country than a sergeant in the NG?

He pretty clearly got at least some special consideration for retirement since, had he followed the normal process, one of the things he would have had to do was complete service commitments imposed as a result of promotions (i.e. that class he didn’t take that resulted in his discharge papers being corrected to make him an E-8 rather than an E-9).

The only person that can clear this up and prove his retirement had long been in the works is him. You think he’ll do so? I don’t, because I’m pretty confident it wasn’t.

Personally I don't care, quitting the US military ASAP is a sign of good judgement in my opinion. He's not even going around like John Kerry "reporting for duty" and his opponents are people who's war experience is none, and using a laptop to send emails in the rear with the gear. This mostly seems like something for nerds to debate online. Mostly I take issue with the idea the DoD is doing a favor to a guy who wanted to get into government to be against the war they were going to fight. That seems kind of ridiculous, doesnt it? At the very least, people should be more mad at the DoD if its true.

If one does not complete required coursework for a promotion, does he fulfill the promotion requirements? If not, his promotion may not be officially recognized and the service commitment falls back to his last promotion as does his retirement rank.

$2000 says I got four 99% on my PCAT (Pharmacy College Admission Test). Scores based on how you did VS people who took the tes5 the previous year and were admitted to pharmacy school. Assuming my scores are still on file at UF. Money talks, BS walks.so far every poster who has challenged me was forced to the walk of shame. I expect no less from you

That’s definitely what happened to him. But the National Guard retirement guide says:

“The separation authority will not approve requests for separation until they verify that: a. Soldiers have completed all remaining service obligations, such as for bonuses, promotion and appointment (except for those discharged for maximum age, maximum years of service, or medical disability).”

You took the PCAT four times and got a 99% each time? Bet accepted.

They are still on file in the special collection for Super Brain Geniuses, under lock and key with 18 layers of security. They are simply too dangerous for the public to see.

If you want to appear smart, I think it's best to keep your trust in Jack Posobiec to yourself.
