I did. I embarrassed myself twice by filling out the form wrong. I've been to so many doctors offices lately where you fill out the paperwork by checking off the conditions that apply to you that instead of penciling in the box I checked them all off. When the machine wouldn't accept my checked off ballot the lady voided it then gave me another one. I checked the first box then when I realized I had made the same mistake all over again I had to go back and get another new ballot. Hey I'm old, us old geezers sometimes do shit like that.
Possible but not holding my breath. Her opponent was moving up in the last poll I read. Some were saying it was a dead heat match but she has a lot of support out here.
Our ballot consisted of one US representative race, and three bond initiatives. After all the sturm und drang nationwide, I was expecting more than one measly matchup. I know it wasn't a presidential year, but "mid-terms," indicated to me that there would be a significant number of races. More significant than one, at any rate.
I had a pretty lengthy ballot. A governor's race, 2 US Senator races, a US House race, State House race, lots of judges whether or not to retain them, and a county commisioner's race.
I have a place in Summit. About a month into her angertainment term, I check the district maps. Summit is not in her district....otherwise, I'd've made that my perm address just to vote against that embarrassment.
Thought I wasn't gonna make it in time after dealing with hydraulic issues on a truck all day. Walked in covered in dirt and grime and smelling like shit. Lol. was busier than I've ever seen it but I'm usually there in the morning. I did leave governor blank, not that it'll matter. Voted no on all the amendments, as I do about 95% of the time.
Wife and I voted around 4:00 pm. The only election was for a seat in Congress with the reelection of the incumbent Democrat a virtual certainty. The Democratic primary was actually much more interesting when he was challenged by an AOC type lefty than today's general election.
I voted by mail last month. Been checking the status ever since to make sure some DeSantis goon didn't challenge it from being counted.
Was in & out in 5 minutes. Concerned how easy it was to cast a ballet. Was asked for my last name …and then she wanted me confirm my address on the roll. I said “Yes” …then handed me my ballet. I could have been anyone.
Last week, early, at the govt ctr. Walk in, flash id, vote, walk out. Zero waiting. Gotta get a sticker!
Only problem is that your ballot wouldn’t register in the tabulator and was put into box 3. You’ll hear about it later. I heard it is because one of the candidates for gov was apparently too busy campaigning to make sure all the tabulators worked. That AZ is a crazy joint.
Sweet. Maybe we both can get part of what we want: An authoritarian to equally treat us poorly Crist appreciates it.
