    I live in Houston, so I may be biased. But Sampson gets the absolute most from his players. Success at multiple stops. Go get him!

    I m glad no poster in this board will be making the hire. At the same time, not sure someone like Lynda Tealer at the AD is qualified enough. I hope SS contacts experts looking for candidates.

    An elite coach by definition is successful and has absolutely no reason to come to Florida without a massive paycheck over many years. Best alternative is SS finds a Mid-Major diamond in the rough that can out recruit the top 30 teams in the country and coach them better. That coach will demand big bucks.

    There is no way Rick Pitino will retire at Iona without giving it one last shot at a big-time program. I fully expect him to be a candidate at UF and other high-profile openings this offseason.
