I was looking at the seasonwide snap counts and while it doesn't include special team play, it got me thinking about which players are still eligible for redshirting Against FSU, both Grimsley and Smith played significant downs, but I doubt either have played in 4 games, including special teams. Similarly for McClain, who we saw midseason, but not during the winning streak. Projected regular Kelby Collins started slowly after a position change, got significant snaps in a few games and then disappeared, including exclusion from the travel roster. Not sure why we haven't seen him in the transfer portal yet, but wonder if he managed to save a year of eligibility?
KD daniels should be redshirted, he looked like he had some pop at the end of the FSU game. I'd like to see him get a few carries in the bowl game.
I think Daniels might be a nasty KO return guy. Maybe we see it in the bowl game. I am not a fan of when we have baugh or montrell back there. I'd rather see more of a burner, but that's just the fan in me.
Asa, Jakeem, Khaleil Jackson, Devon Manuel, Gavin Hill, Lyons, Caden Jones, Cormani , Abrams, Greg Smith, Rillos, Daniels, Amir, Foster, J Davis, all the freshman OL, Millen, Spurlock (have to assume he leaves) are guys that didn't play 4 games that I can recall off the top of my head I think Tre only played 4 games too
Maybe, but Baugh seems to have some vision and instinct back there which ETN didn't. It's been a while since I've felt this positive about the backfield (and was something I wasn't expecting to feel good about at the beginning of the season). Throw in Jackson and next year feels pretty good.
I noticed we played several players against FSU that had limited time playing all year long, and several freshmen played too.
