Who do you dislike more, FSU or Miami?

Miami's very existence is an insult to humanity.

But FSU hatred and very existence is an insult that goes all the way back to the beginning of time... Big-Bang.

 

True Gators need not answer this question.

 

FSU, I was actually rooting for Miami when I watched the game yesterday.

 

I dislike FSU's athletic department more

I dislike Miami "fans" more

Miami athletic department keeps embarrassing themselves so it's a bit endearing

 

I don't mind Miami. They're like a caricature of themselves, irrelevant for 20 years but still arrogant, yet don't bother to show up at the stadium to watch the team play with the 237 other fans. Almost comical in 2023, tbh I enjoy seeing them ranked preseason just because I know it's a joke.

Very close between dogs f¢u and miami. Right now semis since we play them next.

 

I want Florida State to lose every game in every sport that they play. My 2nd favorite team is whoever the Noles are playing. #2 on my list is Georgia, #3 is Tennessee.

 

IMO, it's like asking which do you dislike more, a colonoscopy or a root canal.

 

One feels like a slap in the face while the other is a royal pain in the butt.

Miami is a little more fun to mess with because their fan base is more triggerable. But SWAC is more problematic due to scheduling and success in sports across the board. SWAC is also more of a natural rivalry given the popularity of their school and FLORIDA amongst high school students. Fun fact, 11 teams have scored more points in the ACC Championship Game over the years than Miami has. Miami has scored 3 points. In 2017, they kicked a FG down 38-0 with less than 3 1/2 minutes to go in the game to avoid the first and only shutout in ACCCG history.

Interesting question... FSU is still upset about an incomplete pass in 1966, Miami is still upset about the Gator Flop in 1971. UGA still insists on counting a win over an intramural team while the bulk of our varsity football team was off fighting in WWII in addition to the win they claim against a Blue & White team from Lake City in 1904 prior to UF being established in Gainesville.

But in answer to the original question I would say FSU since they are an annual rival.

Strange thing is this question caused me to find this article about Lane Fenner. Turns out he is a very interesting and likeable character.

How can anyone hate Miami more than FSU? Does Miami have a fake Indian with a spear riding out on a horse, complemented by a godawful war chant and tomahawk chop? Not to mention ownership of the city's police department. Give me Coral Gables any day.

 

Never seen more fsu and Georgia gear being worn than I have in the last few weeks. Don't care how Fairweather Miami fans are they are usually not many to be found. Fsu fans come out like roaches when the lights are off
