White House asks Congress to cut $9 billion from budget

Asking congress to act is the proper role of the executive branch. lol It’s about time Trump asked.

 

9 billion is basically nothing lol. Good enough bill says lol. What a joke. .1% or something? lmao.

 

It's $9B of targeted cuts for people Trump doesnt like. It means nothing to the budget. Just more axe griding by the largest baby in the world posted by.. well.

 

They asked to cut 9 billion from the budget while adding 200 billion to the military budget. Yep sounds about right coming from them

 

It’s certainly a “start,” but it’s not the one you’re claiming. They’ve spent an additional $154B this year vs last and their current budget proposal is + $192B the current budget. This is winning?

 

It's enough of a con job, dog and pony show to keep the most die-hard members of the cult placated.

In terms of actual deficit reduction, or .... good governance..... these cuts are laughable. And it's embarrassing that there are any Americans who don't just laugh at them.







Oh wait - Donald the Felon and Elmo the Grifter are going to balance the budget on this $9B of foreign aid cut, most likely, from programs that provide medicine or food to desperate people.

Adding Trillions to the National debt to pay for tax cuts for the rich, coming cuts to SNAP, SS and Medicare as well, using gimmick accounting never used before and bypassing the Parliamentarian ruling on reconciliation.... this budget is representative of the biggest circus ever seen. 9billion is not a drop in the bucket towards making this fiscally responsible.

 

This is what you're not understanding. They're planning to increase the deficit. They're not starting anything

 

It's fun how right now we're in the "MAGA Fake Deficit Hawk" stage. In probably less than two weeks we'll switch to the "MAGA Justifies Deficit Funded Tax Cuts" stage. We'll get to see these same MAGAs explain to us why rich people, Trumputin, and Elmo really need tax cuts.

A bigger hole: Trump has already spent $155bn more than Biden. Musk now claims DOGE only saved $150bn

The Trump administration has already spent $155 billion more than former President Joe Biden did over the same period of time after their inaugurations, according to Treasury Department data. And Elon Musk is now claiming that his Department of Government Efficiency has only managed to save $150 billion.

That means that despite tens of thousands of government workers being fired, agencies shuttered, contracts cut and federal services dramatically reduced, the current administration has already racked up an additional $5 billion of debt than the Biden administration in the same space of time.

And it’s not clear that DOGE has saved anywhere near $150 billion. Every time Musk posts “receipts” to show off DOGE’s savings, they’re riddled with errors.

 

Be careful Bill. The libbies have encircled you and they have their hands in each other’s laps. You definitely don’t want any of that on you assuming they are even capable of actually getting their equipment to work. Just throw them a couple of rolls of Bounty and get the hell out of there.
