Mental note….guy jumps out of a car at 115am in a devil mask take him down immediately. Side note. There are not a ton of options when trying to quickly take down a 300+ lb guy. Thankfully his plan of wearing a full rubber mask worked against him as it impaired his vision and put him off balance a few times. Had he left the mask in the truck that scuffle may have turned out differently

 

I think the fact that he was stumbling drunk was the main factor. As I said once the bouncer got his gun but not in stand-off distance he should have shot him. It wa fortunate his back up arrived.

 

Might not have stopped him with just one round. You need a .45 to stop a guy that size.

147 gr GDHP at 1050 fps is plenty.

 

Given everything that shut down during COVID it's a wonder the business survived. I have to admit I don't live in Tampa but I did visit that establishment 30 years ago while I was on a business trip for American Management Systems. Needless to say those youthful days of blowing off steam are long gone.
