Didn't double down, not sure how that happened and wasn't arguing.
    Stated a point.
Was at the USF, LSU and SC game yesterday.
    This is a different team!
    Very happy to see.
Asked a question where was this team before?
Is this part of the growing process?
    Is it a Cox dismissal?
    Love what CBN is doing!

Glad you brought this play up Aging. Thanks! I was so proud and happy for him.

That was an incredibly athletic play by him in multiple ways -
    The contact and strip
    The take away and return

Yes he fumbled after contact and he was down......butttttt......

Yall know how special a play that was folks?
    By Big Dez????

Billy made the comment that AR is running more because he is more comfortable with Kitna as a backup.

I think he was looking for an argument?
    Wasn't an argument question!
Love what's happening but wondering how/Why?

May be a factor but It's not on one player. It's a team thing.

Couldn’t agree more on Florida State but it will take our best game as they are really playing well.
    Vandy first

    to win against FSU:
AR going to have to keep ball more on zone reads. Even if the end crashes down and takes him away he is still a better athlete. Him actually being a threat makes it much easier for Montrell and Trevor to run as essentially when he keeps the end honest that’s one less tackler and I can tell you the guys on the outside are much more worried about AR that they are us running off tackle.

We have to come out ready to play defensively like we have the last 6 quarters. I see guys flying around and hitting and wrapping up. Gotta stop Benson and Travis on the ground first. I finally see Toney bringing extra pressure and it’s working.

no turnovers. Say what you want but AR last 4 games:
    950 passing
    12 total td’s
    0 interceptions.

He’s growing and being more careful with the ball. When Shorter comes back I’m hopeful he doesn’t stare him down as Pearsall and Caleb “Payday” Douglas are legit. Douglas has an upside that is through the roof.

These things take time. New coach, new relationships, new culture, new system, fragile psyche of a team, brutal schedule especially up front.

We live in an insta-culture but that is not the way life works - in sports, business, marriage or taking up a new hobby.

The thing I like is if you look at our best coaches in recent history(Spurrier and Meyer) vs our worst(Mac and Champ), the first group had “it” and the second group never really did- this would be a really long post if I went into the details, too long- Billy is clearly like the former, but it’s a tougher league than back then so it will take some time.

Compared to Mullen who was great before the wheels fell off, Billy is obviously a program builder unlike Mullen.

“Alabama process with a Clemson culture.” I’ll take that.

“Wes Chandler was Percy Harvin before Percy Harvin was born.”

agree here, thinking it takes players and new staff game experience to acclimate, and for staff to get a handle on what works in SEC competition/atmosphere vs at ULL, especially assistants.

I don’t think people fully grasp the lost production between MJ/ETN and Wright those first handful of games.

In the UK game if MJ/ETN got Wrights 8 runs that is most likely an additional 40 yards and probably a few more first downs. So probably 75-100 yards in totality. That right there could have turned that into a W

You know how some QBs will ignore the play call sent in by the OC….. I wonder if certain D players were ignoring the play call and doing their own thing and getting a few others to follow them?
Would explain broken coverages, no contain on running plays, coaches calling conservative because no confidence in the d actually running the play…finally HC had enough…
Just a thought. We will never know.

I agree...and real changes tend to happen coming off a bye week, which we recently had. Hard to make changes during a regular week when you're game planning...so I was eyeing that bye week to see if this staff can lead change and growth. They def have, IMO.

Guess I am an outlier on this board; but what I want to see is Etiennne and Johnson running the ball and Richardson working on completing 50% of his passes for at least 150yds.
BTW, Kitna has been very impressive in his few chances. No worries at qb next year no matter.

The answer is Volsheimers. Swampheimers, Gatorheimers, Florheimers?

The meat of the schedule came first now we’re feasting on the weaklings.
