Good lord Liberals take things too serious. Where was I wrong? And btw, I totally support YOUR view on childhood poverty and healthcare I assume, but that likely isnt good enough for the you because we see abortion different.
It is good it’s like 3.15 near me, better than the 4.25 is was. If the EPA lets that new refinery be built it would go lower.
Ocala is running about 3.19 so Gainesville is probably 3.29 or higher. Not good at all but I am sure it will get worse.
No, no, no, no. Not only is Biden gas less expensive, but you get better mileage with it PLUS it keeps your fuel injectors and valves cleaner and lubricated.
Why the F is the price of gas a gov/political issue? Further, for most of us, shouldn’t price per mile be the more relevant metric? I get double the mileage I used to.
Oh, & given we are the world’s largest producer & have been a net EXPORTER since 2020, why do we bemoan higher prices? America first, or whiny bitches first???
Agree or disagree with him doing it, but Biden tapping the strategic reserve and threatening to do so again if opec cut again has had an impact. It sent a message to opec and to speculators that they couldn’t monopolize control over prices, which has helped to keep things stable. It’s not sustainable long term, but it has worked for now.
How much gas your car uses and the price of it does not make everything you buy higher. The cost of the diesel those those big trucks burn to haul pretty much everything we buy makes a big difference.
Correct, and if we are being honest, energy policies from Dems or Republicans have far less impact on the price of diesel than people realize. In 2020, when the International Maritime Organization changed regulations for ship fuel, suddenly ship owners shifted to very low sulfur ship fuel. Producing this fuel directly competed with diesel production as the same molecules are used for both. So, refined diesel supply went down yet manufacturing capacity was largely fixed. In 2022, Russian diesel was banned from the world markets. They were leading producers of diesel fuel. Finally, in 2020, when the world shut down in response to the global pandemic, it caused refineries to shudder, as too few people were driving, flying or sailing. When demand increased, producers kept some production shuddered because they could command huge price increases and run largely at 100% capacity. They see no reason to bring on more refinery capacity which will only cause prices to drop. Neither Democrat nor Republican presidents will have much impact on any of those things.
Again you all can get back to me when gas gets down to the $2.00/gal to $2.50/gal we had under Trump. Sad that OPEC has conditioned you to think $3.00/gal is a deal. It might not be as bad is it could be but it's not a deal by any means.
