seems WW III broke out on y'all's dumbass's watch, NOT the 4 years prior, when Trump was actually POTUS.

Talk your shit, after sticking the world with Doh! Biden, acting like he didn't just shit the bed epically--the same one your orange boogeyman occupied for 4 years, while preserving world peace...

    Ridonkulous.

    Get help.

....and yet, no new wars under orange boogeyman's, vs 2 under the senile joke y'all strapped us with, and forging an alliance bt China, Russia, Iran, and Saudi Arabia, while he also opened the borders and flooded our home with 10 million cartellers, drug dealers, sex traffickers, fenty nuff to log 100k casualties per year, who knows what kind of infectious diseases, gang bangers galore, and God only knows how many terrorists...

Not to mention bringing back inflation, and all for the bargsin bssement price of like 9 trillion dollars in new debt.

    ...I digress...

Don't let me get in the way of your daily Trumpgasm.

Trump was so good at preserving world peace that the rowdy types had to do their biz here at home. Law n order!

Trump is a buffon, but when the left flips over stuff like this it’s just sad.

Big fan of the Ruskies are ya? (It's a Q, not an accusation). BTW why do you think folks on the far right have become pro-Russia?

I’m no fan of the Ruskies. In fact I agreed with Romney years ago that Putin was an issue and was laughed at then.
Go search the Ukraine war thread and see if posted anything pro Russia, do it anywhere.

Sad thing here is it’s either hate Trump and Love Biden or you’re a Russian asset or Like Trump and hate Biden or you’re a DemoCommunist. Giant fallacy of logic.

To answer the second question I think some have become Russian apologists because they see it as anti-Biden. Some believe the US goaded Russia into invading to help the MIC sell arms (not agreeing with that premise FTR).

Thanks and again, it wasn't an accusation. I know you're not a Trump fan and I know that very few (far right) have been pro-Russia. I don't think folks consider all on the right to be Russian assets.
I do, however, believe there is something to Trump carrying Putin's water. His NATO comment was wildly alarming, not to mention embarrassing. The civilized world is watching this $hit show in the U.S. and shaking their collective heads.

This is how I took it as well.

Trump often says “we have” when he is bloviating on the current state of affairs(when he is basing Biden).

agreed. Big Gov Donnie gives everyone plenty of meatballs right over the plate, so it looks stupid to swing at the rare inside fastball. Like the chosen one. It was totally taken out of context & it was a rare instance of Trump being a tad clever. Notwithstanding the fact that he was defending his leftist attack on free trade. But lefties gonna lefty

That doesn't change the fact that Trump has been kissing Putin's ass for years and will continue to do so. In addition, he has gone on record as saying he would stop helping Ukraine. Based on that, which candidate do you suppose Putin is in favor of? I'll make it easy for you: your orange god.

LMFAO As usual you take a short clip someone posted on Twitter that was cut out of a speech leaving out the full context of what Trump was saying and you think you got him. LOL

Trump is not a Russian asset, at least intentionally. He is the embodiment of that “useful idiot” idea that made the rounds not so long ago.

He is the ultimate globalist, and a grifter. What is it to him if Russia succeeds 40 years from now? He doesn’t think 30 seconds into the future other than himself.

He goes to WV, tries to put on a miner’s hat, tells them coal is the goal. How? There is none, and he couldn’t care less. He can’t pronounce bituminous, much less understood how anthracite is different.

I’ll not regale you with all the other policy stuff. He has none. He can’t articulate a single one. Because he doesn’t CARE. He has NONE.

I have resisted the “cult” talk for a decade. But there is no other explanation.

All policy matters require the cultist to actually invent and support them. It is the ultimate cult leader trick. Yah, I don’t have details, that’s your job. Mine is to convince you to do all that, and now, since it is in fact your own, defend it to the death.

But remember, I am the one who gave you that tiny bit of power. Pay the piper bruv!

Of course he was talking about Russian warships. He says that in the beginning of the clip. “We were tough on it. And we would not have Russian warships and nuclear submarines surrounding Cuba 60 miles off our coast.”

The issue is whether or not when he says “we have” at the end of the clip he is self-identifying with the Russians, as your thread title seems to imply. I believe it’s nothing more than presenting a situation that exists without any self-identification.

In the CNN clip you posted, the colonel looks at the CNN host and points to the map and says, “You’ve got Havana right there where it is.” Does that mean the colonel is saying that the CNN host is Cuban? Of course not. These are not statements identifying the speaker or another person. These are statements identifying a situation that exists.

By the way, I am no Trump apologist. Did you not read my previous post where I said I don’t like the guy? Pushing back on this does not mean I support Trump.

Trump is a buffoon, but “we” clearly refers to all us Americans and the warships are referencing Russia from the preceding stream of consciousness. Trump claims he can curtail Russian egress around the world. Yet, he can’t create a long lasting policy beyond his term. He needs to articulate more than just a 4 years of his vision of prosperity.

Thank you for your logical, balanced, and fair post. IMO, it's easily the best in this "stretch" of a thread.

Wait, I thought liberals always think our country is not so innocent while criticizing this war or that one, police brutality, providing arms to Israel. List is long of things they think the US should apologize for.

Under Biden we’re on the verge of WWIII. Yeah, but under Trump an unruly bunch of eccentrics took selfies with Capitol guards and placed feet on Nancy Pelosi’s desk.
