When to Shoot Your Son's Youth Football Coach (Multiple Times)

    When you live in St. Louis, and the coach does not name your son as a starter. The suspect did show a lot of restraint by only shooting him four times. Normally, a St. Louis shooting involving a youth football player not being named a starter involves the whole magazine being emptied. The coach did manage to survive, and was not arrested for failure to recognize football talent when he sees it.

    Charged with first degree assault?

    Seems like that’s an attempted murder charge there.

    But Clemmons' brother disputed Latimore's claim that the shooting stemmed from an argument over Clemmons' son not being a starter. Jason Clemmons said his brother and the coach got into a dispute days prior and that Daryl Clemmons was defending himself. Witnesses told KSDK that the coach was the aggressor.

    "It wasn’t over my nephew," Jason Clemmons told the news station.

    Since this happened during practice, you would think there would be a whole team of witnesses as to what actually went down (besides Latimer).

    Also, is it customary for youth football coaches to be carrying guns? (Latimer handed his off to a friend for a fist fight.) Yelling at players is one thing, but drawing a gun on them is something else.

    I guess my basic thought is screw the adults. I just hate that kids have to grow surrounded by this crap. Seeing people shot, seeing people killed. Living in fear, thinking it’s normal, thinking they’ve got to have guns because everyone else does.

    This wasn’t a playing time shoot but it makes a good headline. This was two gun carrying Americans settling a dispute like God intended. With guns.
