It's illegal to make a cop feel bad from 25 feet away.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this struck down in other areas, as well as officers continuously moving towards people filming, which resets the boundary.

Warren decides to run for re-election. hopefully another desi injustice gets righted by the courts and the voters. judge already ruled his rights were violated and the appeals court said he ahs the authority to remedy that violation.

Changing course, Florida prosecutor suspended by DeSantis to seek reelection (msn.com)

Changing course, a Democratic Florida prosecutor suspended from office by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis said Tuesday he will seek reelection while a court battle continues over his 2022 removal from the post. Andrew Warren had said in January he would not run this year. But that was before a federal appeals court ruled that a lower court should consider Warren's argument that statements he made about hot-button issues such as abortion were political advocacy protected by the First Amendment. That case remains pending.
    ...........
In his announcement in a video posted on social media, Warren said the governor “illegally forced me from office” and that he decided to seek a third term even as a judge in Tallahassee considers whether to order his reinstatement later this year. Qualifying for the election ends next week.

“I'm running to protect our values, for a woman's right to choose, for a fair and just system and — above all — for freedom and democracy,” Warren said in a statement. “I'm running to do what's right.”
    ................
The appeal will eventually go before U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle, who previously ruled that Warren's statements were protected by the First Amendment but that he lacked authority to reinstate the prosecutor. The appeals court said Hinkle does have that authority.

That one really irritated me. Not because the general sentiment is wrong, but because it suggests that the primary or sole totalitarian evil in the Americas is from the Left. Far from it. The weight of historical totalitarian evil in the Americas is from the Right. I won't retype all and some of my past musings have rolled off, but here are some - So we have a new House Speaker

Dont see how this is even legal unless we can get Imams, Rabbis and Satanic chaplains in schools. No doubt our fine high court will invent a work around.

You have such an old fashioned view of legality. They answer to a higher law which tells them they should rule over you. Jesus told them to hate and oppress you

I used to think that was ultimate goal. But I don’t think so anymore. They want to rule over all, not just eliminate the public square. They want to be the public square.

I'll believe this when they purge the plutocratic economic outlook from the party. Which seems unlikely, because that is their donor class, and DeSantis himself is not some populist. Certainly what you said would be acceptable to them, because ending public education altogether would be very difficult in ordinary circumstances. But ultimately this is an ideology that knows how to break things, and they are pretty good at that.

Like every totalitarian society, really any society, the rules never apply uniformly. The wealthy funders will always be above the law. The whole prosperity gospel shtick is just a way to say that if you have money, you must be an instrument of Divine Will.

If there ends up being a lesson regarding the current American left and right, which would not be overly shocking, indeed this would be akin to a state thought police.

But even if not, and this is simply a look at communism in theory and practiced in other nations, teaching the “evils” of anything is unacceptable. When we’ve discussed indoctrination in the past, a critical mass on both sides of the aisle suggested proper education teaches people how to think, not what to think. This language very clearly violates that doctrine, which is ironic for a group that continually touts “intellectual diversity”.

I'd be happy to give either that lizard green GT3 RS, or the gentian blue GT4 a new home!
