    and once again we make national news for removing sociology and inserting us history as told by the victors. are entire sociology departments going to be removed and history departments enhanced or will there be enough elective/majors chosen to keep the departments open?

    The goal is certainly to try and force universities to defund Sociology departments because of the ideas discussed in the field and its courses. Tallahassee couldn't do it directly without violating the Constitution, so this was a way for them to do it indirectly. It's all about censoring ideas they don't want the next generation learning. It's repugnant behavior from a bunch of fascist snowflakes.
