Well, it’s easy to read behind the lines of what Rollins is really saying.

    Florida
    Ready, set, indoctrinate!

    PragerU content OK’d by Florida

Gov. Ron DeSantis repeatedly says he opposes indoctrination in schools. Yet his administration in early July approved materials from a conservative group that says it’s all about indoctrination and “changing minds.”
The Florida Department of Education determined that educational materials geared toward young children and high school students created by PragerU, a nonprofit co-founded by conservative radio host Dennis Prager, were in alignment with the state’s standards on how to teach civics and government to K-12 students. The content, some of which is narrated by conservative personalities such as Tucker Carlson and Candance Owens, features cartoons, five-minute video history lessons and story-time shows for young children. It is part of a brand called PragerU Kids. And the lessons share a common message: Being pro-American means aligning oneself to mainstream conservative talking points.
“We are in the mind-changing business and few groups can say that,” Prager says in a promotional video for PragerU. He reiterated this sentiment this summer at a conference for the conservative group Moms for Liberty in Philadelphia, saying it is “fair” to say PragerU indoctrinates children.
“It’s true we bring doctrines to children,” Prager told the group. “But what is the bad about our indoctrination?”

DeSantis says ‘no’ to indoctrination. PragerU brings it to Florida schools.

and Desi and the gang continue to try and force religion based systems into the state university system

i didn't know that the law had changes such that bright futures can now be secured with this alternative test score

Florida may become first state to accept a ‘classical’ alternative to the SAT and ACT (msn.com)

Anew college entrance exam that has become popular among Christian schools and conservative political groups may soon expand its footprint to include Florida’s public universities — following a boost from the DeSantis administration. The Florida Board of Governors, which oversees the state’s public universities, is expected to vote at its August meeting on whether to accept Classic Learning Test scores for admissions, in addition to the SAT and the ACT. If the board approves it, Florida would become the first public university system in the country to accept the test.

The Classic Learning Test, or CLT, was created in 2015 as an alternative college entrance exam rooted in a teaching model that emphasizes the humanities, morality and classical literature. The test has found favor in recent years among some conservatives as an antidote to progressive influence, and it is now accepted by more than 200 predominantly private universities.

Florida’s consideration of the CLT follows a high-profile dispute between the administration of Gov. Ron DeSantis and the College Board, which administers the SAT, over an Advanced Placement African American history course offered by the organization. After he accused the AP course of left-wing bias, DeSantis said Florida would look for alternatives to other College Board products.

Since the AP spat, Florida has accelerated the rise of classical education and the CLT. DeSantis signed a bill this year that opened the state’s Bright Futures college scholarship program to accept Classic Learning Test scores, in addition to ACT and SAT results, to determine eligibility.

Sounds pretty much like affirmative action, for Christians. As with the “indoctrination” bs, it just shows they are completely full of shit. Everything is a projection. Every rw accusation is a confession.

Wait for the few DeSantite apologists to cry that the Orlando Sentinel got it wrong, that PragerU is built of “truth” and avoids “indoctrination”. They’ll come out and scream how wonderful PragerU is for our children’s development.

I posted one about Christopher Columbus in the PragerU video that is full of holes and fallacies, lol. You can’t support PragerU and be against the indoctrination of children. This is 100% indoctrinating them to believe that stuff was only one way and leaves out all kinds of facts. Dennis Prager is also a massive clown and it’s terrifying they’re using his garbage to teach our kids. It completely makes critical thinking impossible.

More than 5min, but details some of the fundamental flaws in Prager U videos. That's a nice way of putting it. Another way of phrasing it is that the videos consist of faulty interpretations and outward lies in order to perpetrate a right-wing indoctrination agenda.

The video I produced includes exactly what you asked for. Even more, it includes critical commentary. Sorry it was beyond the scope of your attention span. o_O

Yep, no propaganda or indoctrination to see here! Frick Desantis, I wish nothing but the worst for this POS fascist wannabe. So glad his presidential campaign is going down in flames. Now the residents of Florida just need an awakening to this clown and all the devastation he is doing to our state. Try and force this garbage on my kids and I’ll have a lawsuit lined up and ready to go.

I started a thread about the PragerU nonsense. This guy has no education background, but dear leader's minions are lapping up his educational programs. I am glad two of my kids graduated from college and my last is a college sophomore because the Florida education system is becoming a laughingstock!

I know who Dennis Prager is, but I guess I just assumed PragerU was at least some sort of educational institution. If this is accurate, it doesn't seem like it even purports to be.

    PragerU - Wikipedia

PragerU (initialism for Prager University, and short for Prager University Foundation[4]) is an American advocacy group and media organization that creates content promoting conservative viewpoints on various political, economic, and sociological topics. It was co-founded in 2009 by Allen Estrin and talk show host Dennis Prager.

Despite the group's name being an initialism for Prager University, it is not an academic institution and does not confer degrees. PragerU's videos contain content widely considered to be misleading or false in promoting climate change denial. Historians and political scientists have also criticized PragerU's videos for containing misleading or inaccurate claims about topics such as slavery and racism in the United States, immigration, and the history of fascism. PragerU has also been accused of promoting anti-LGBTQ politics.

Sure, load the board up with people who share the same warped ideology and this is what you get. Proud? Three more years of his crap. God save us if he somehow became president.

Seriously, how do you take positive words and make them negative? That headline should be a negative for him and his followers.

Sounds like it was designed for DeSantis' vision for Florida's educational system.
