Hi there! We're humans. We live all over this big planet, and in many respects are quite an advanced creature. But a word of warning: Despite being intelligent, we are generally very intolerant of each other - especially those who live in different places, look different or believe in different deities. We argue - often vehemently - about things, like how other people should be living their lives - even if it doesn't have any impact on our own day to day lives. We know that being kind to one another is a good, productive concept. We also know that, relatively speaking, it's quite an easy concept to promote and enact. But many of us are more interested in having stuff. Stuff that doesn't really matter, but makes us feel good in the moment. You're very welcome to come and say hi, but we probably won't find any consensus about what to say to you. Because some people are never happy, no matter what. There are too many assumptions to make given such contact for any of us to get a clear indication as to the intent of such a visit. I seriously doubt there will be an armada waiting in the wings. That is unless they have technology such as a zed module in Stargate Atlantis powering an entire city that is encapsulated and can move as a space craft. One might think of a wormhole but these are hypothetical consisting of a black hole white hole combinations. More to the point assuming such capability of intelligent life (after all they built the space craft) one has to consider if the craft is occupied with robots or life beings with freedom of thought and motion. If the later the assumption is there must be some life sustaining element such as oxygen, water and food. Short of cryogenic technology a body in stasis would require the bare minimum of life sustaining substances. Not to mention once awakened you have to feed the beast or a tribe for that matter. I would start with questions such as: Where did you come from? How long did it take you get here? Of course this question would have to be based on an agreed measure of time such light years, years, days, 24hr clock or something that we could convert to our understanding of time. Why did you choose this planet as your destination? What do you hope to accomplish with this visit? Who would ask those questions is a matter of debate as there is no single entity on the planet that speaks for all of us.
Your message would fall unheard. There is zero evidence on earth to suggest that beings powerful enough to cross the vastness of spaced would do anything but subjugate us.
