I’m thinking 6-7 wins. That’s a tough schedule. Who knows how the schedule will really be.

Would mean four wins. Six or fewer would be devastating, to team, fans, recruiting. Nowhere for staff to hide if that happens. I realize the schedule looks difficult, but if we are making progress we should be able to do a bit better than last season.

Tough schedule true. But six will still be underwhelming.

It won’t make anyone happy but we will have to beat some decent teams to get to 6-6. This isn’t an fsu schedule. With fsu schedule, I’d say 8 wins and a shot at ten.

My intuition tells me to avoid predictions, but I am hoping for at least seven. What will factor in to more than six would be something we haven't seen in the last two years: executing the offense, sound defense, and scoring lots of points! Most teams don't beat the Gators, they do a real good job of beating themselves!

Yay…losing to Kentucky 4 years in a row is NOT an option.

Can't argue with that. Fans have to be outrageously loud. Running game has to be virtually unstoppable just to take pressure off of our front line.

I should have added consistency. The last two years, we have seen entire quarters in a game when the Gators offense was flat. That's concerning for a defense and, especially, a porous defense. Hopefully this year will be different! Go Gators!!!

I’ve always wanted to watch the Gators play Texas.

What did they say about the gameday coaching of each? That will likely have more to do with it than any position group.

SEC schedules are always tough. If he only wins 6 this season, his ceiling would seem to be around 8.

But we would have lost to more decent teams than what we beat

Being under 500 vs decent teams isn’t exactly the goal.

    It’s Miami for the OP.

Win that game and we get a mulligan in the first half of the year. Lose it, we need to win out to UGA

The FSU game. Depending on our record it may determine the future of our program.

We better win most of the games before Georgia or maybe all of them. If we lose two, six will be the cei more than likely
if it’s to preserve a winning season, It’ll be huge.

I agree that Miami is the most important game, setting the tone for the rest of the season, but don't know if it is the most intriguing game. For me, that's Texas.

Miami, but there are some really good games all year long, and more of them are at home. This coming season is a time to take back The Swamp. If we take back The Swamp (win every home game) I'll be very pleased.

Miami sets the tone for the season. A Gator win at the Swamp signals a big-time rearrangement of the furniture. That stated, even if we dump the Miami game, I believe we have a great chance at a much better than expected season. A&M at home as well as Kentucky should put us in great shape. LSU should also be a solid possibility as they lost much talent and have to replace an outstanding quarterback, who was a double threat.

Tennesee is still suffering from Volzheimers! They are suffering in disbelief that SI predicted that they would be the team most likely to regress. They believe this QB, Nico, is Heisman! Stiff, unpredictable passer, skinny and one shot away from ER.

FSU will have a tough day of reckoning this year as they lost everyone. DK is not the answer. No depth or talent. Go Gators!
