I’d bet Vegas would have Bama favored against most of them.

Sorry, I’m for Meatchicken. If Meatchicken or Washington lose, it more easily clears the way for Georgia even if they lose on Saturday. I want them frozen out.

Sorry, you've got it backwards. In your scenario Bama must end up above tOSU being a conference champ, and UGA would have a better record than tOSU so almost certainly stays ahead of them. There's a path for tOSU to make the playoff, but it requires UGA to beat Bama. Remember tOSU is currently #6 in the playoff rankings, so they need to rise 2 spots without getting passed by anyone below them:

Michigan wins (no credible scenario involves them losing)
UGA over Bama (UGA in, Bama stays behind tOSU)
FSU loses to LVille (FSU falls below tOSU)
Texas loses to Okie St (Texas stays behind tOSU)
Pac-12 CG loser falls below tOSU

Playoff teams: UGA, Michigan, Pac-12 champ, and tOSU (ACC and Big XII champ both have 2 losses)

This is the same discussion in 2006. Would they leave a one loss UF out of the championship game even though they were the SEC Champions. strength of Schedule was a factor back then.

If Bama wins, which I very much hope they do, then Texas should be in. They beat Bama in Tuscaloosa.

    Michigan
    FSU
    Oregon/Washington
    Texas

That would be the most fair. Not saying Bama and Georgia aren’t better, but how do you leave out conference champs/head to head winners.

These winning combos might give us 2 SEC teams & no fsu:
    • Texas, Bama, Louisville, Iowa
    • OK State, Bama, Louisville

To sweet Baby Jesus, I hope so. Screw the SEC. I hope Bama and GA suffer the stink of a million farts in close quarters.

Bamas loss wouldn’t be as bad and their wins are better.

Four best teams is how it’s supposed to go, those aren’t the four best teams

    :(

Yeah, that’s what happens when you have no one left to cheer for. It becomes all about what gives you the greatest degree of schadenfreude.
