IMO But I can guess Michigan will beat Iowa Winner of Wash/ Oregon is in The loser is out That's half the equation Winner of Uga/ Bama is in Fsu wins there are in Now if Fsu loses they are out Now it's between Texas( if they win) and Uga....Texas So basically the SEC/Big10/Pac12/ACC or Big12 champions
Interesting views here. All I know for certain is I will be pulling for Louisville Saturday night. Big time!
Mine too, but I don't think that's going to happen because even if FSU gets in they are likely to be #4 which would put them up against #1 UGA in the first game.
If Alabama beats Georgia, then the committee will find some way to get Ohio State into the playoffs, they always do. /s
Georgia will still make the playoffs if Bama beats them. Having been number 1 for so long gives them lots of juice. It makes my stomach sick but we're looking down the barrel of a UGA Threepeat.
I am not so certain that Bama can’t beat Georgia. I think Bama is the one team that scares Georgia. What I don’t want to see is another 2021 scenario, where the Playoff Committee just lets Georgia in anyway and makes Bama have to do it twice.
It’s a moot point, because either Bama or Georgia would beat SWAC like a drum, whether or not they still had their starting QB. But I just can’t envision any situation where it’s okay to cheer for SWAC. I hate Georgia with the burning intensity of a thousand suns, but when it comes to being soulless and evil, no matter how many players Georgia has unethically bought under Kirby Smart, they never enabled an unprosecuted rapist to win a championship. I don’t forget that. Ever.
FSU and Georgia are on the same level for me. My fear is Georgia becoming the biggest dynasty we’ve ever seen in modern college football. If that means fsu has to win one, I’ll suffer through it. Look at it like this: the chances of fsu repeating next year are slim to none. The chances of Georgia winning four straight (if they win this year) are actually not that bad. 3 in a row is too much for any school much less a rival. To be clear I don’t want either of them to win it as I hate both schools. I’m just thinking logically.
My hope for the world is that Louisville pulls down FSUs pants down on national television and beats their butts like their band beats that annoying drum all game long. Then Alabama pulls out another last second touchdown winning drive leaving all Dawg fans feeling dead and empty on the inside, much like Auburn fans felt last week. Only then can there be world peace.
It would be even more fun if Alabama beat UGA, Oregon beat Washington and Louisville beat FSU. Then you would have Alabama, UGA, Washington, Oregon, Texas, and FSU at 12-1. Ohio State at 11-1. What then?
