do you have a link to the legislation that Trump passed or even tried to pass to reform immigration? this go around I've heard no ideas for fixing immigration from Trump, only very expensive political stunts. Here's some fentanyl stats. where's the trump effect? maybe yr confusing yr feeling for facts.

I have a few questions. First, what are the root causes? What are the solutions? Second, if Biden ignored the problem, why did they work on a bipartisan deal that Trump tanked? Why did they implement draconian measures at the border (which I disagree with)? Why did they work with Mexico on diplomatic solutions to keep people from getting to the border?

Some of y'all live in a very different reality. I'm not sure where you get your information.

The thing is, the more times you get involved in the criminal justice system (or civil for that matter) the more likely it will eventually work against you. Trump has been able to manipulate the system in his favor countless times in the past, but ultimately it caught up to him. There is no arguing that the New York civil and criminal charges are comparatively aggressive, and a NY jury may not be as forgiving of him, they are legit charges and he clearly was guilty of them.

So how do you think this is going to stick, vs Trump stopping bipartisan immigration legislation that would have put a dent in the problem?

Did "everyone" only learn of the root causes of illegal immigration in 2021? Seems highly unlikely.

So why'd your rapey felon do nothing about it over 4 years? And what makes you think he'd do something this time?

Took a bit of time but the ones that wanted Biden out did start taking about it.

But they aren’t gonna use it on him at this point so they aren’t serious individuals.

I disagree. It took very little time from the end of the Presidential debate to the day Biden was forced to drop out. The calls for him to step aside were immediate and unrelenting. In contrast, Trump is supported by his party no matter what mistruths he promulgates, crimes he commits, or felonies he is convicted of. It must be conceeded that the Democratic Party is still an actual functioning party, regardless of whether one agrees with their politics. No elected Democrats will lose a re-election campaign or support from their party due to criticising Biden or calling for him to step down.

You're insinuating that she had an affair with a married guy 30 years ago?

This makes you more likely to vote for her because you Trump supporters condone adultery, right?

I imagine the only reason that you brought up Willie Brown is because you think her affair with him when she was 29 years old is relevant. Maybe you want to know if Willie Brown thought that she was good in bed almost 30 years ago. Kind of like asking Stormy Daniels or Karen McDougal their opinion of Trump's qualifications. I don't think it's because you want his opinion on her actual qualifications for the office.

I don't know if Kamala can beat Trump or not but there are no guarantees. It's more satisfying IMO to play to win rather than running quarter back sneaks and playing prevent defense when you're down, which is what Biden felt like to me. I think we're back to where we should be at this point: the partisans sweating it out and undecided voters....doing whatever undecided voters do.

Uh… you realize cancel culture was started by republicans and conservatives who wanted everything they didn’t like banned from TV and radio from the 1950s on, and were quite successful at it… from the McCarthy blacklistings right down to Elvis’s hip movement….
