What a Difference a POTUS Makes: Army Recruiting for December and January Both Shatter Records Going

What's worse than too hot? Yep. Game threads. Basketball ones are tolerable. The football one's havent been since... well, ever.

Speaking of the Army. I didnt want to start a thread for this so I will put it here:

This Memo was issued by the US Army this week. It is very important for Women Engineers not to be able to meet with each other as an interest group or for support. I am pretty sure this was why we lost in Vietnam. Sissy clubs.

 

To be clear, I believe this affects only West Point Academy, not the Army itself.

 

My military buddies have been commenting for years how difficult recruiting has been. The numbers here don’t lie—regardless of cause, the numbers are up. I have a tough time believing the cause is anything other than the America First/no-more-DEI message.

 

Even though the increase started more than a year ago? After the army started a new program to get people qualifed?

 

Or to Applebees …

 

I play ball with a bunch of military guys every Saturday morning. I can’t tell you when I last spoke about recruitment—probably just about a year ago,tbh…

 

I go back and read the game threads sometimes, even in wins, if we go down 7 in the second quarter, they make Too Hot seem rational….
