West Virginia is showing DeSantis how it's done ...

3 bills proposed in WV would include things like making it a felony for a parent to show "Mrs. Doubtfire" or "Lady Bugs" to anyone under 18.... or a transgender person to be within 1/2 mile of a school ... makes gender affirming care illegal for anyone under 21 ... some even say the law is worded vaguely enough that bans transgender people from appearing anywhere in public at all.

Republicans in West Virginia move to BAN transgender people from public places (msn.com)

What's wrong with Bill 194? It keeps mentally ill parents and doctors from trans-ing someone under 21.

Bill 195 is not about Ms. Doubtfire. It's about the Drag Queens telling stories to kids at the library. Again, keep the groomers away from the children.

197? Do you want trans people in school books? Are you for sexualizing children?

What is the age of medical consent for all other procedures in West Virginia?

    (Hint: It's not 21)

    https://codes.findlaw.com/wv/chapter-16-public-health/wv-code-sect-16-30-3.html

How nice of the state to protect those you consider "mentally ill" until they are 21.

Candidly, I’m glad my son grew up watching scantily clad cheerleaders. Upshot: he’s still my son, not my daughter.

I'm sure California will compensate for that.

Some folks keep telling me that transgender rights aren't a civil rights issue. I say the government seeking to deny a group equal status under the law merely because they're different is a civil rights issue. These bigoted Republicans keep showing us who they are.

What would you like to bet that more kids have been molested by youth ministers and youth sports coaches than drag queens?

Can you imagine, just a few years back, people whining about how hard it is for little boys to become little girls ?

What a world. What a freakish world.
