What other college team will have TWO punters of this quality? Just think of the unique formations and plays we can run with two punters on the field at the same time. SEC ain’t ready for it.

People complain all year about special teams.....we get the top ranked punter in the country to pass up nice scholarship offers to walk on at UF and likely sit a year until Crawshaw graduates. Pretty impressive IMO

It’s definitely a nice pickup to get one of the top ranked at any position, but if Crawshaw is back it’s not a need. Unusual even, if both are on a scholly. Maybe he’s a walk-on or pwo?

I think you might want two big time kickers in case one gets the yips. But punters are usually more locked in once they get the job.

PWO, I'm sure the plan is to put him on scholly when Crawshaw leaves. Sets up perfectly

In all seriousness though … Johnny Townsend was a weapon … Honorable mentions to Chas for doing both during the glory years and Caleb, Eddie and Evan … perfect Kicking game would have been worth what maybe 1.5 more wins this year ? If we do get better, it only becomes more important, glad we are thinking about it and not suiting up dental students for the Georgia game again …

Edit: We badly need some good news
    Edit: other actual good news

I kinda like it. Just keep lateraling to each other and running forward…run for the first or option to punt.

I think on offense have five running backs in the backfield with six players on the line. Just snap it to one of the RBs and run sweeps with the four backs without the ball blocking. Make sure one of them can pass and you have a real RP option.

Pretty sure that was what FSU was running in the ACC Championship game without a QB :)

They couldn't have looked worse if a chicken with its head chopped off was running the offense.

And it only cost us $1.5 million. Kidding, but timing is kind of funny.

Why not? They had 4 in the backfield when they ran the wishbone.
