Let’s get real. These tax charges amount to a pile of nothing burger. He will serve zero days in jail. The now special prosecutor absolutely failed in his initial ridiculous plea deal and failure to do what he should have before letting the statute run on the most important years. We will quickly see if this is just cover to allow Biden to refuse to testify in front of congress by next week. If that excuse is used we confirm these charges are timely filed cover for hunter.

The real issue is still not even addressed at all here. Hunter did not register as a foreign agent. What services did he perform to result in tens of millions of dollars of earnings from these foreigners governments and entities. Why the elaborate money laundering scheme through so many shell entities and payments to so many family members. 10% to the big guy! Why Joes secret emails with hundreds of contacts with Hunter and business associates. Carry on. Until these items are addressed, which the house committees are trying but getting stonewalled every step of the way by the old man and his cronies, this special prosecutor is still not doing his job. Taxes and guns are just cover to give the vulnerable partisan hacks something to be distracted by. I see all of the usual suspects have fallen for it. So funny and predictable.

You absolutely convinced me that Hunter should never hold public office much less the presidency.

The one thing the Feds have is statistics. So how often is this particular gun charge used as well as the frequency of the tax charges after payback.

Those are good questions. I’ve read somewhere that the gun charge is rare - but how rare. Would be good to see the numbers - #Violations/#Prosecutions

Bless your heart. Should we investigate how Jared Kushner and Trump from the billions made from the Saudis?

Typical off topic replies. Did you even read what I wrote. If you did you sure didn’t comprehend it. Bless you and thoughts and prayers for you.

Joe Biden also may have illegally transferred money to Hunter for his middle school lunches. The GOP smoking gun here is the lack of repayment plan.

Also, Hunter also occasionally packed leftover Chinese food for lunch, smoking gun #2.

What too few people remember is that back in 2011, in the aftermath of the November 2010 shellacking of the Democrats by activist Tea Party groups around the country, AG Holder asked the Treasury Department to participate in a “special research project.”

The IRS was asked for the Schedule-B’s of groups who were registered as “patriot” groups (Tea Party Patriots) and other names associated with the political uprising against Barack Obama and the takeover of federal healthcare, ie Obamacare. The Cincinnati field office of the IRS then sent the DOJ a batch of CD-ROM’s containing the names of the individual donors listed on the IRS 501-c (3)(4) forms. That list was then compiled and used by the federal government to target the donors and supporters.

That is weaponization. Hunter not paying taxes on millions of dollars he collected from foreign governments and fraudulently filing taxes is what people are supposed to get in trouble for.

BTW, The House has two bills that are up to spy on everyone more. The Intel Committee bill expands domestic surveillance authority under the modifications; the judiciary committee bill requires the DOJ to get a search warrant before they can look at the incidental collection of American citizens. They are both bad but at least Jordan's bill makes the DOJ get a search warrant.

Some of the groups denied 501(c)(3) or (c)(4) status as the result of the "weaponization" of the IRS back in 2011.
3 Groups Denied Break by I.R.S. Are Named (Published 2011)
Contrary to the Republican/conservative myth that the IRS was targeting conservative groups the agency reviewed the applications of all organizations applying for 501(c)(3) and 501(c0(4) status under the same criteria whether they were conservative/Republican or liberal/Democrat. More conservative groups were affected (and very few applications were actually denied although decisions on many of the applications were delayed ironically as a result of staffing shortages at the IRS resulting from funding cuts by Republicans) simply because many more conservative organizations applied for that status.
