I dont see any team having long term success in the SEC with only a run heavy offense without an aggressive and competent passing game. It is too easy for talented SEC defenses to stuff the box and shut the offense down. Even teams with great o lines make you play honest back end defense and that requires a decent QB and scheme that puts back end pressure (like a Chipotle burrito back end pressure) on the opposing defense. Im not sure we are there but hopefully our coaches can understand that and scheme some players open despite the talent gap between us and the Georgias/Bamas of the SEC. And while were at it.. please...oh pretty please.. remove the wide receiver screen on the boundary for minus 2 yards from the playbook.

We need a qb tgat can throw the ball consistently. We haven’t had that since Trask and it doesn’t appear we have him on the roster yet. You can’t scheme a competent qb.

Not sure he has that HC image. Fat and double chinned in 30s does not bode well for his future look at 40 and 50. Can he really demand and motivate players to be in top physical shape when he is not?

Seriously, half the ones on the offensive line are out with injuries. Even healthy, you have three starting caliber OL on each team when we have five or six DL who could start and six or seven Edge/DEs. Too many quality front four defenders against a depleted OL. The QBs didn't have a chance to begin with and then they had to deal with that ridiculous rule where they're considered sacked if a defender touched them.

We don't know anything about the offense, more specifically the QBs. I do think we have a pretty good defense. A very deep one.

It can be described as not paying close attention. Which half our fan base did not do. They are clueless on the purpose of spring games and why they exist. It’s a lost cause to try and explain it to them. Just move on.

    In my head--- UF
Let me see him coach a game

  13. He'll get his chance somewhere eventually, certainly gives off the vibe. We need to hang onto Sean Spencer as long as possible dline guys love him and he's a great recruiter. For dline and secondary we've got arguably the best coaches in the country, just need to keep the continuity going. Those 2 hires on Napier's first staff were splash hires, I get the 3 recent hires to replace departing coaches but none of them were splash hires that made a statement. Very glad Corey Raymond signed a new deal like I said he's a splash hire literally every other team in the country would want him if he was on the open market.

Many, many coaches are not lean or fit. If they win, no fans complain they wish he could lose some weight.

This is what Billy needs most IMO. An Offensive Coordinator who can coach up QBs and call an exciting offense. Like Brian Johnson did for Mullen.
