Not sure what our record will be - or who will be the coach. But when Lane looks up and sees 90k still loud for the O&B he'll realize what Ole Miss will never be or have We can debate until we're blue in the face with taking heads on the "better job at the moment" but I think that would turn the tables in our favor.
Absolutely... How about we pack The Swamp for all home games. If you have season tickets, please use them.
Get him to commit to us before the game, stipulation will be us having to match in millions however many points Ole Miss scores on us.
My parents tried to give me their tickets to Ole Miss and I’m not gonna spend the 1000 bucks. It would take me to go down there and watch it.
At this point, i wouldn't count on Lane. He's got a potential championship caliber team, he's making plenty of dough, and great job security. He also has a situation here where no one knows who's in charge. Better to either keep CBN close to year end or cut ties now and get an interim caretaker. Either way we lose the recruiting class and a good part of the team, because if our candidate is coaching a playoff team, nothing will get done prior to early signing day.
I just don’t see Kiff being the one. I’ve heard from a few close to it that it will never happen. That was a year ago …IDK, things change. But I I don’t think he has the maturity or mental makeup to handle a program on this level. The offense part on the field may look sexy, but can he handle the heat when things go sideways? He doesn’t have a good track record with it.
I am more concerned that half the state of Mississippi takes a week vacation in Orlando, Tampa and Gainesville
I imagine that we’ll have an interim coach by that and I wonder what pro Kiffen chant will doled out. Would be embarrassing if we don’t have an interim.
I'd agree if it wouldn't cost $200 to catch the game for 2 people on the low side. I'm far away but if I wasn't I sure wouldn't spend my $200 on that.
A year ago most posters here were opposed to Kiffin. Perceptions have changed or maybe it's just desperation. As for maturity/mental makeup when things go sideways, I'd say he couldn't be any worse than our recent coaches. None have been able to right the ship when faced with adversity.
So I should spend another $1000 per game over my season tickets $ to travel and watch this disaster? I’ve already done that twice.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement, either way. I still think there are better option(s) out there. Lane jut seems like a stop gap guy to me… and I don’t think I’m alone.
