We just can’t finish with these teams we shld beat … we shld have the better players but drive and want seems to overcomes talent, especially in ladies sports … they wanted it more today … shld be 8-1
To me, our guards all seem to try to do too much. All of them, except rimdal, want to drive to the hole and throw up wild shots hoping to get fouled every time they touch the ball. Not much team ball, and wildly out of control most the time.
We can't stop their 2 main players. They, also, have moved the ball around better than us. We just go one on one too much and throw up prayers half the time. Lots of individual talent, but not a lot of teamwork, IMO.
Kelly is growing as a coach, today has not been a good day for her. Again I question the scheduling playing these games against non power 5 teams on the road. Makes no sense to me, we have gotten screwed the last 2 games in the 4th quarter by the refs with lack of foul calls and getting calls against us that we had no business getting. Now we have cosidered another bad loss because we let teams hang around to get home cooking refs the last quarter to put them over the top with our lack of having a dominant scorer..Kelly needs to just say this person is our go to in the 4th and the rest need to support this.
the 3 losses especially we dont get calls to it iooks even worse. She needs to sit this team down and figure some stuff out
Definitely some talent on this roster. If they ever start playing together, I think they could be good.
These are teams we should be able to impose our will on even if we’re playing against the refs too. They gotta learn how to win these games. Things will not get any easier during sec play.
