NON-CONFERENCE DOMINANCE
Florida is currently in the midst of a 25-game home winning streak versus non-conference competition – the second-longest streak in school history. The Gators last non-conference defeat at Exactech Arena was on Nov. 26, 2019, when Florida State took a 66-55 win.

SERIES RECORD:
Florida leads all-time series 42-34, including a 20-11 advantage in home games.
FSU won 92-77 in the last meeting between the in-state rivals (Nov. 16, 2022 in Tallahassee).

FLORIDA'S LAST GAME:
The Gators won 92-54 Monday versus Florida A&M. Senior transfer Aliyah Matharu led all scorers for the second consecutive game, hitting 22 points against the Rattlers. Three other Gators turned in double-digit points Monday -Laila Reynolds (20), Ra Shaya Kyle (15) and Leilani Correa (14).

Kyle has led UF in rebounding in each game this season, with nine versus FAMU. She enters Friday's game tied for No. 7 among the nation's players with two double-doubles earned in UF's opening pair of games.

ABOUT FLORIDA STATE:
Florida State brings a 2-0 record into its first road game of the season. The Seminoles are coming off a 92-91 win versus then No. 11 Tennessee on Nov. 9. The win elevated FSU to No. 12 in the latest Associated Press rankings as the team were No. 18 in preseason rankings.

Two Seminoles own season scoring averages of 20 or more points per game - O'Mariah Gordon (21.5 ppg) and Ta'Niya Latson (20.0 ppg). Makayla Timpson's 7.5 rebounds per game leads FSU through the opening two games.
