Guy tells it like it is and I enjoy the breakdowns. Only thing I'll say is that maybe the personnel on the team dictate what we do offensively. I have always said that we will have a limited passing game with this personnel. Maybe BN knows that as well and that's why the passing game looks the way it does.

You can bury your head in the sand anyway you want. You can use insult anyway you want. And you can be biased anyway you want. I don't care, I pity you.

"... trust that those in charge..." Of course you trusted the 3 Ms , trusted Pease, Nuss, Granthem, etc. and hated people who dared questioning them, typical of blind followers without much of a brain. You'd trust Taggart to the end if you were a FSU fan, and there were a lot of them who don't admit it now. LOL

"but only one team gets to take home the trophy. It ain’t quite as simple as some folks think it is" What a loser's mentality, that's why I pity you.

I see positive in everything. Unlike you, I see how can we make things better in everything. Obviously I won't waste any more time with people like you, it's not worth it.

My head isn’t buried anywhere, I just choose to try to put a more positive spin on what I see from the team when I put it in writing. Most of the negative stuff people parrot on here relentlessly, there is a more positive way to look at. I’ll reserve my more critical/negative thoughts for conversations with my family and friends. I don’t need to feed the narrative that we have a shitty fanbase by putting every negative thought I have out there for the world to see. How does that help my team? You think Billy and Scott are making decisions based on your GC posts? I’m thinking those guys can see their deficiencies, and if they refuse to see them, and/or are unable to correct them, they’ll be replaced. I don’t need to point them all out. The guys that make the moves are watching the same games we are, and they want trophies in the case just as bad as we do.

Question, their falling out was said to be that Dabo was over riding his play calls and calling something different. So which coach was responsible for results? Just asking

    Quite the edit there…

I don’t have any choice but to trust those in charge. I don’t make those moves and neither do you. The three M’s were all fired about as quickly as I’d ever like to see any of our coaches fired. The folks in charge made the moves that needed to be made. I didn’t bitch relentlessly about them while they were here, but I didn’t mourn their dismissals either. I try to support who we have as much as I can. My brain works well enough to know that I don’t play a role in any of the big decisions. It also works well enough to know exactly what I need to do if I do want to play a role in those decisions.

I think there’s only one Taggart fan on this forum, and ironically, he fits in more with your crowd than mine.

No need to pity me. You’re the one who seems to be upset about all this. I’m just telling you what it is. There’s a whole lot of teams that want to be on top every year and only one gets to be. They’re all doing everything they can to get there. If you don’t think our admin and coaches and big money want to be there, I’m not sure what to tell you. I CAN tell you they likely care very little about your plan to get us there.

My logic says the falling out would have likely happened the year prior if that’s when this began. It’s unlikely that anyone perusing these forums knows that answer for sure though.

Yep. I’m not mourning the loss of any of the previous guys, but I hate the constant turnover at the position. I guess we could just poach a championship winning coach from another team and give him an unprecedented contract. It’s easy right? Working out well for TAMU.

I just remember all those FSU fans that were convinced Norvell wasn’t the guy for the job. All the evidence was there. They were seeing it with their own eyes. He was Taggart 2.0.

What's the fascination with some posters trying to prove they are a better class of fan? You have an opinion. The other guy has an opinion. It's a message board. Who cares about feeding narratives and blah blah blah. If you truly disagree with what he says then argue your point.

From what I understand , the offense is very complicated, shifts, motions, zone schemes, and it takes awhile to get a full grasp of the playbook. Has elements of pro sets, air raid , rpo from very similiar looking sets. So we may still be a full season out before we have the guys to run it the way its designed to be run.
So far his " weak play calling" hasn't been stopped from going up and down the field by at least 2 top 15 teams.
The offense isn't flashy, but it can move the ball, the defense is much better than anyone thought possible this early in the season.
Good program builders, have a map and a plan and they go by those religiously, I am happy with this year's results, so far.
    Go Gators!

It was after the loss to Maryland. There was actually a lot of smoke…

What Happened Between Clemson Coaches Dabo Swinney and Billy Napier?

And this is the presser that was referenced.

Swinney: No rift in Clemson camp

And apparently it’s common knowledge in Billy’s hometown.

Nobody wants to deal with constant negativity. We all watch the same games and see the same things as do the coaches. There’s no mystery. They are working on it and hopefully we see some improvement in tge obvious areas of need.

People maybe glossed over the time stamps in the OPs video but if you look at the 43 minute mark you can see a big difference in how Varnadore breaks the play down objectively while GNFP goes full hyper critical mode with a biased perspective. 3rd quarter 7 minute and change mark 3rd down and the RB route blows what would have been a 2 on 1 Gator advantage and a potential big play. The way GNFP covers it leaves one questioning what the hell the coaches are thinking while Varnadores breakdown illustrates what florida was trying to do. Huge difference in perspective in my opinion.

People really need to start taking GNFP with a grain of salt. It's not fact.
