You said it about the athlete he is. Way more athletic than people think and he’s a leader. Like having a coach on the field. I’ll never understand why a kid like Trent, runs great routes and has r great hands, couidn’t be a major contributor on our team. Cost us Creed who I think will be an excellent slot in college.

 

It is a mystery as to why Trent isn’t playing. It’s possible that the other guys are just better than him. It’s hard to say without a quarterback that can get the ball to the receivers consistently. I seem to remember he was injured last year also. It’s also possible that his injury has stayed with him and he’s not the same guy that he was. We get very little information on injuries. We don’t really know what happened to Richardson at this point.

 

We were recruiting Creed at WR. As for Trent, word is that he’s too slow. One day we will find out the real reasons.

 

He’s 99.9% transferring and I believe coaches know it.

I know you feel like me. He’s best route runner on team. Great hands!! Early on based on reports, practices, scrimmages, etc he seemed to be loved by Billy. Not sure what happened but sure don’t like not playing a Quality kid like this.

 

Trent’s not too slow. I don’t buy any negatives with him. Say it again.

Just relaying info. Not calling him slow. Maybe the injury held him back.

 

All we have to go on is pre injury. Haven’t seen him really this year. He would go get the ball before his injury though.

 

Sure he is taking a redshirt or medical redshirt. Will likely transfer and preserve a year of eligibility

Ricky is the best route runner. I did expect to see Trent more, though. He's made some fantastic catches as a Gator. But there's gotta be a reason that even Douglas is seeing more action than him

Yeah he def has to be transferring. If he wasnt, he would have got playing time today. Now, it just looks like hes not going to play bc Billy needs to get players that are going to be here next year reps. I'm really hoping Burke stays though and maybe he can transform this off season into a go-getter.

 

Outside chance he committed a sin and for that the staff won't play him. But more likely, the staff "likes" the other starters more, regardless of talent and capability. We know Trent is a hawk and he rarely, if ever, missed a catchable ball. It's a mystery. We all wish it were different.

 

I can see a kid transferring if he is not getting playing time and the Cowbells sure throw the ball around, but Starkville, Ms?? Damn!

 

Could it also be that Trent either wants starting minutes or zero game PT so he can redshirt this year and not lose the year of eligibility. He got passed up by Piersall and Napier rarely goes 4-wide. I wish him well, but the Coach Colbert and Coach Napier must think Piersall-Shorter-Henderson are clearly better.

 

Good place to play WR at, just don’t bring your fat little girlfriend with you!

 

Don't shoot me, but we have recent history where staffs made improper, undeserved, or incorrect batting orders for players. Happens all the time.

 

Coach Leach used the "fat little girlfriends" story before, when he was at Texas Tech........ RedoII.
