Ok, well find where I said winless teams beat ranked teams all the time and then we can have this debate. You all are debating with your own statement, not mine.

 

And we didn’t just get beat, we were dominated by one.

Yes, and I said it several times to include yesterday. If he starts missing the tournament in multiple years, I think that a change should be considered. Most teams would kill for our level of success over Mike White’s tenure. He’s in the top 5-6 programs with respect to consistent tournament success since he’s gotten here.

Here's where I don't agree. Not all bad losses are equal. This was a bad loss of epic proportions. Where I agree with you is that the way they pick themselves off the mat (or not) will tell an important part of the tale.

 

You would think they will be more focus playing this team after losing to Oklahoma. But no. It was the opposite and the worse part is they were playing in front of their home crowd. There's no excuse for losing this game.

 

06/07 cats: 18-13. Bounced in the first round.

That would be a really good outcome for this team at this point.

 

Alot of you guys fail to realize that even though TSU was 0-7 they are not a bad basketball team. 5 of 8 games this year we lead at the half and won the rebounding battle in almost every game. LA Tech was probably our worst played game in a very long time. This team easily could have been 6-2 right now if some of those games were at home. The Gators problem was you guys did not clog the lanes we are not a good 3pt shooting team but you guys played us man most of the night. We will beat majority of teams who take this approach. Thanks for your insight. I assume you've only seen us play the once. Imagine doing the same thing three games in a row with similar results and not making a change. Sigh

I get it trust me.. like I said we led 5 out of our 8 games at the half. Those other 4 games if we were at home they are probably Wins.

 

This was our 9th I believe.

first off, congrats on the win. So you're typically a bad 3 point shooting team,and we played tight man on you while getting killed on the glass? Yep, sounds about right with this staff lol

 

Why would you imply that man-defense would negatively impact rebounding? The reality is, it is much more difficult to rebound out of a zone.
That said - I wish we sped up the game or did something to change the feel. . . perhaps throw the 1-3-1 out there a few times.
