Russia's military has gotten so weak that Ukraine finished installing the first phase of their wind turbine project practically right under their noses. Ukraine put 114 MW of wind turbine capacity on-line less than 62 miles from the front line. You would think that Ukraine would be nervous enough that, once the war broke out, they would put the rest of the turbines way off to the west of Kiev. But, no, they continued where they were.

Amid war, Ukraine bets on wind for energy security (yahoo.com)

Putin sinks to (yet another) new low. He is having summer camps for foreign children (visiting Russia) in Crimea, coincidentally just before Ukraine starts their counter-offensive. Basically, the children will be used as human shields.

Russia wants to bring foreign children to Crimea before Ukraine's counteroffensive – Lithuanian MP (yahoo.com)

Until he sinks lower and runs some false flag against the kids to claim some moral high ground.

I mean, it's hard to even type that, but would anyone put it past him?

Those kids better do their chores and better not talk back to their parents.

I just got an idea for how to threaten my 11-year-old daughter. The old “I’m calling Santa’s workshop right now!” only seems to get me scorn these days.

Seriously, though, this is the best that the world’s biggest and baddest military can come up with, hide behind a bunch of foreign children? If I was Zelensky, this wouldn’t discourage me one bit from taking back my land if I had the military capability of doing so. The most I’m willing to amend my plan is to have my Foreign Ministry transmit an official warning to all neutral countries about not sending their children to a war zone.

Who knew they’d have fireworks to herald what will be known in the history books as the Fall of Bakhmut ?

The Pentagon said that one of the Patriot systems in Ukraine had indeed been damaged, and it had already been repaired

Must have been relatively light damage..

Wut? Who would send their kids from foreign countries (Belgium?) to Russia for summer camp. I mean I could see some parents from Dumbassstan doing it but they don’t typically have the means (or passports).

If you're sending your children to Russia for summer camps these days, let alone Crimea (on the doorstep of major war), you shouldn't have kids anyway. This sounds like propaganda. Nobody is sending their kids to Crimea this summer. These types of posts are unnecessary. Putin is evil. We get it. We don't need urban legends about Putin to understand who he is.
