G8tr - Please advise: Which of the three Ruske services are the most competent? Army? - Human wave assaults which measures a great offensive in meters? AND which surrenderd more tanks in its arsenal than Ukraine had to begin the war? Navy? - Umm WHAT Navy? Which had the pride of the fleet sunk by Ukranian ground forces? Airforce? - You know, the nonexistant one that bombs its own country? I'm having difficulty deciding, can you help??
And one more reminder that no matter how powerful you are, or how weak your opponent, you can be hurt … https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-Ongz7rLToI
my opinion is that their entire military and industrial complex has atrophied from corruption and mismanagement and this war has exposed that. my biggest fear is that the level of incompetence that allows a 21 year old reservist access to so much TS information will only be exceeded by the security of the russian nuclear warheads. Too many zealots in Russia with connections.
Your quote at the bottom does not match the reality for this pilot. I'm fairly certain that this pilot will be more disappointed by the things he did do, if this is any indication of his capabilities.
Russian bloggers demand "strong" retribution for whoever bombed Belgorod recently. This cannot be tolerated. Whoever ordered this senseless violence must be put to death, and their eyes poked out, and their fingernails removed, and holes drilled in their teeth. What? You say his name rhymes with "rootin' tootin'?" And he has been occupying the presidential palace? What the hail? Russia's air force accidentally bombs own city of Belgorod (yahoo.com) Seems like Ukraine pulled a Vladimir Putin out of their ass.
Reports that the Bakhmut cauldron has slammed shut and that Wagner and Russian troops have complete control over the “highway of death” coming out of the city.
Can you imagine the reaction if US forces accidentally bombed an American city? (yes, a nuke got dropped into the salt marshes of s.e. GA years ago and remains there to this day, but this is different). Talk about incompetence.
Russia, flush with money after defeating the U.S. sanctions, decides to dump Peter the Great. Not the person, but the ship (battle cruiser) named after the person. They aren't abandoning the ship because they can't afford to repair it, as is widely reported. They are abandoning it because they can. Russia may discard Pyotr Velikii battlecruiser as there is no money for repairs (yahoo.com) Translation: "We don't know what it's for."
You sure do like your trivia. But I'm fairly certain that the bigger story in that time period was the D-Day landings, which happened to be successful (for the U.S., not so much for the Germans).
Yes, the US did play a role in defeating [insert new enemy here] the Nazis. Scream into your pillow if it helps.
This author believes that Ukraine can take Crimea within months, and doing so will cause Putin's regime to collapse. Ukraine can retake Crimea within months, if we let it (yahoo.com)
Agree. While I hope it's accurate it seems overly optimistic. I would add that Ben Hodges does have real credentials as the Commanding General US Army Europe.
Crimea has never seen overly daunting to me, TBH. Pretty easy to cut it off from the already crappy and incompetent Russian logistics. it's like one road and one bridge. Siege and roll. Does anyone really think there will be civilian resistance?
