If that indeed is true, and continued logistical difficulties with supplies certainly set conditions for apathy if not outright inserection.

The Iranian ships bringing in drones need to start having accidents at sea.

Why I say Stay Home, Save Lives and Stand With Ukraine is the same thing ...

Professor of Clinical Psychology, Mattias Desmet, has explained that mass disorientation does not form in a vacuum. It arises, throughout history, from a collective psychosis that has followed a predictable script:

Just as with lockdown, governments have used behavioural psychology to instil fear and isolation to mass large groups of people into herds, where toxic sneering at any contrariness cold-shoulders all critical thinking or analysis. It is more comfortable being inside the herd, than out.

The dominant characteristic here is remaining loyal to the group – even when the policy is working badly and its consequences disturb the conscience of members. Loyalty to the group becomes the highest form of morality. That loyalty requireseach member to avoid raising controversial issues, questioning weak arguments, or calling a halt to wishful thinking.

The ‘Groupthink’ allows some self-imagined reality to detach; to drift further and further from any connection to reality, and then to transit into delusion – always drawing on like-minded peer cheerleaders for its validation and extended radicalisation.

Note to Neo-Trolls: Quit pissing your pants. There is no move to put NATO boots on the ground in Ukraine. There is no need to. Ukraine is doing just fine with only our material support. They are well on their way to winning this war. In the next few months, they will have enough western tanks to mount a counter-offensive, and Russia will be defeated.

The only increasing clamor for more mobilization is from people in the propaganda ministry that are fairly certain they will not be mobilized. The average Russian knows that no Ukrainian troops have entered Russian soil, so their safety is not in any danger if they do not work in any military bases near the Ukraine border. They know that this is not an existential war for Russia, and they know that Russia is not fighting NATO. Russians aren't stupid.

Russia is not building their army. They are just looking for volunteers to charge enemy positions with no more than a shovel in their hands. They are looking for target dummies to use up Ukrainian ammunition. Every time they try to conscript more people, there is another exodus of people from Russia to other countries. Putin's next conscription drive might be his last one, before the people rise up against him, and he has to gun down thousands of people in the streets of Moscow. At some point, someone close to Putin will put him out of commission.

Russia is presently ejecting occupiers from its home. Or are you one of those crazy MAGA-type election deniers ?

Kind of reminds me of Hitler's annexation of the Sudetenland which was really just part of Germany according to the Nazis. I guess Ukraine is part of Russia since it was under the Soviet Union as well as under the Czars which according to Vladimir Putin was more than enough rationale for the invasion.

Based on the onerous provisions of the Versailles Treaties, it’s a wonder that Germany didn’t produce a thousand Hitlers.

Poland is building Europe's largest army (west of Ukraine) to counter the Russian threat, and they are modernizing their weapons. They are spending 4% of their GDP on defense this year. The Polish army will double in size to 300,000.

Russia is getting nervous as several of its neighbor countries (and former regional allies) are starting to align with the U.S. for their security needs. Apparently, they are not looking forward to getting "the Ukraine treatment".

Russia cautions regional allies against aligning with the United States

So its bombing its own citizens and destroying its own cities. Makes sense.

It’s bombing occupiers who’ve been killing ethnic-Russians for years now. Ukrainian nationalists frankly acknowledged shelling civilians for the high crime of not buying into the stupidest nationalism on earth.

So the civilians in the Ukrainian cities that are being constantly bombed by Russia are occupiers who've been killing ethnic Russians. Now I understand.
