Interestingly, thanks to the Russian invasion of Ukraine NATO has probably come to closest to consensus than any time since the end of the Cold War. Although data isn't in yet my guess is that defense spending among NATO countries as measured by a percentage of GDP is the highest it's been in decades.

The combined GDP of NATO and the soon to be NATO counties tops 40T vs Russia rather pathetic 1.5T. Surrender and/or collapse is inevitable. Push push push

On the good news front least Iran and South Africa are actively helping Russia.

Let’s look at the combined GDP, Hey .8T. Not too shabby!:rolleyes:

I think it’s interesting that the only regime changes are occurring in NATO countries, which are creaking and groaning economically, burning through their weapons reserves (to little effect), quarreling with each other, all this while Russia is strengthening ties with China and the larger world.

It’s a gas station that’s destroying the Mother of All Proxies that took the West decades to build.

Russian military losses exceed all wars except WW2. 25 times that of Afghanistan when they had much better leadership. We all know what happened, they turned their tail and ran (Monty Phython foresaw this in a skit). Getting their ass kicked AGAIN by an unassuming Ukraine.

Very very pathetic. They have to be totally embarrassed.

Hey trolling can be fun if you have fact on your side.:):)

More details on the Belarus partisan attack on the Russian AWACS plane. Hilarious that this is how Russia's closest friends treat them.

Opposition Belarusian Project reveals what weapon was used to attack Russian A-50 AWACS in Machulishchy airbase

Moscow goes looney tunes with a desperate idea that they need to defend themselves from U.S. attack, possibly using nuclear weapons. Why would the U.S. need to attack Russia? Ukraine is destroying the Russian military, and that will only accelerate once the western tanks arrive on the battlefield. Sounds like deranged Russians are looking for an excuse to use tactical nukes in Ukraine to stop their military from being annihilated.

Russia journal: Moscow mulls possible use of nuclear arms to fend off US attack -RIA

The U.S. doesn't need to do anything to neutralize Russia. Russia is doing just fine neutralizing itself, or neutering itself.

Russia's military manages to score yet another comparison to the Nazi forces in WWII: they are literally stuck in the mud during a supposed offensive.

Putin’s army stuck in mud like Hitler's in 1941

Russian tank units reduced to manning tanks with medics. What's next? Putting ballet dancers in as tank commanders?

Ukrainian soldiers say they caught a Russian medic forced to operate a tank, highlighting the dysfunction in Putin's army

Lockheed martin ramping up HIMARS production. past due. I can nly imagine that the battlefield impact will fuel more foreign sales too

Putin Has a Big Problem: Lockheed Is Going to Build Lots of HIMARS (msn.com)

In December, the United States Army awarded Lockheed Martin a nearly half-billion dollar contract to produce the M142 HIMARS at full rate production to replenish the stocks for the U.S. and its allies.
    ...........
The production rate at the beginning of last year was 48 new HIMARS a year, which was increased to 60 – and on a recent earnings call, the aerospace and defense giant announced that efforts are being made to increase production to at least 96 units a year.
    .................................
The success of the HIMARS in Ukraine has convinced NATO allies to adopt the mobile launcher – which can be operated by a crew of three, including a commander, driver, and gunner.

What Putin is most afraid of--Russia running out of food, which was a big reason for the 1917 revolution. That explains why Russia hands out fish to war widows. They are already angry about losing their husbands--don't get them started about being hungry.

Russian currency hits a 10-month low as war costs rise and energy revenues sink.

Russia's ruble has crashed 20% as Ukraine war costs pile up and energy revenue sinks
