This is exactly why people cannot have a discussion. You left out the Minsk agreement and Angela Merkle's admission that it was a worthless agreement that would never be honored. Once bitten twice shy so to speak. Whose ring was Putin going to kiss? Appears to me you're parroting talking points and propaganda to suit you're own narrative.
File that under "If you only give a dictator hell bent on conquering the world what he wants today, he will be satisfied and won't want anything else tomorrow." It must be hard being so gullible.
Who made the US go to war for 231 of its 247 years of existence ? If Putin is an abuser doesn’t that make the US Ted Bundy ?
I’m not putting Carpe on ignore, but I can’t have a discussion with someone who only ever chooses to see one side of what’s happening, regardless of circumstance. I am all for dialogue, but agenda driven dialogue in a thread like this just isn’t interesting.
His complaints were ignored in the sense that you might “ignore” some creepy old dude who complains to you that your daughter doesn’t want to sleep with him, and you can either tell her to do as he says peacefully or he’s going to use force to take it anyway. I’d say creepy old dude should consider himself lucky if all you did was arm your daughter and ask nicely that he not use force of arms to try and settle the matter.
And there in lies the problem when we sweep it under the rug without consideration and thoughtful processes.
Would that have been listening to Putin about denazifying UKraine, listening to Putin about deSatanizing Ukraine or listening to Putin complaining about the treatment of the Russian speaking insurrectionists he was arming and training were getting in Ukraine? At some point you will get a dial tone and realize Putin was invading Ukraine no matter what unless Ukraine surrendered all of its territory to Russia. LOL, that's funny right there. Putin's failure to take Kyiv was not the result of a decision to try diplomatic avenues, it was because he couldn't...his military failed him and became somewhat of the laughingstock of the world (other than for its savage brutality.)
