Somebody has been mailing bombs to Ukraine's embassy in Spain. The Russian embassy says the attacks are "totally condemnable" and further stated that they did not leave any fingerprints on the packages.

Spain: numerous devices found after Ukrainian Embassy blast

I’m sure that Russia is mailing bombs to the country that says it’s tapped out on weapons to Ukraine.

Good news for Russia! They have figured out how to dig defensive trenches in the areas south of Kherson. Now for the bad news. The Russians are too lazy to build trenches too far away from the roads. It will be relatively easy for Ukraine to go around the trenches and encircle them.

Satellite images show Russia is making a big gamble on how it plans to defend territory near Crimea from Ukraine

    Doh!

Small wonder so many think Ukraine is winning. From the Express. Notice how the story is sandwiched between ...

“Ukraine Destroys Russian Vehicles” (how many vehicles ? two ? three ?) and “Russian Soldiers Fleeing Training Camps” (how many fleeing training camps ? Two ? Three? Answer: “three or four”). To the article ...

“The Ukrainian commander of the Svoboda battalion, Petro Kuzyk, whose unit is one of those holding Bakhmut said his soldiers are staying in trenches full of corpses, fighting in extremely cold conditions and in knee-deep water against Russia's attacks.

Asked by NV news how big the human losses are so far, he replied: "They are colossal. They don't even count bodies.”

Anyone have opinions on if Ukraine should continue the offensive and re-take the Crimea come spring?

I am happily "In-Shock" over what has happened since the Feb. invasion.

Duggars Dad (Poor Duggar) will spin this invasion fiasco as some sort of earstwhile victory (LMAO).

IMO this "invasion" is WORSE than the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan and is begginning to rival old Joe Stalins lunacy in trusting Hitler not to invade in 1941. (LOL)

It's almost funny listening to historical documenteries about the 41 invasion. Apparantly the only IDIOT that trusted the Nazis was old Joe. That cost him what.........25 Million dead or captured and 60% of European Russia occupied??

When should we reconvene so you can gloat over Ukraine pushing Russia back to Moscow and Zelensky bounding up the Kremlin steps to arrest Putin and take him in chains to Ursula von der Leyen ?

The only thing more uproarious than that is Zelensky willing to negotiate if Putin gives back Crimean and the four oblasts that overwhelmingly voted to join Russia.

I’m 100% behind a Ukraine victory, but wish this thread was more real battlefield updates and less propaganda rah rah.

By request, news from the battlefield ...

Ukraine may look as if it were winning. The truth is the opposite because Ukraine is running out of manpower it cannot replace. It is losing by attrition on the battlefield and, with the Russians systematically destroying its infrastructure, millions of Ukrainians have fled abroad. It is unlikely the country could recover even if the war should end tomorrow.

Ukrainian military casualties are big trouble for Biden

There is a podcast (You-Tube)I follow:
"Ukraine news today with Denys Davydov"

I recommend you check it out.

Denys podcast is specifically about the military situation and he updates daily, including showing territorial gains (mostly gains) and losses, as well as related information.

    I liken that to:

Going into Ballys casino and winning some money at the slots.
Then going to the craps table and losing those winnings.

Then going back to the cashier and saying, I want my winnings back........LOL

There is no question that Ukraine appears to be throwing its entire weight behind holding Bakhmut.

Remember the troops that filed into Kherson City when Russia withdrew ? They’re now being sent to Bakhmut.

But why is Bakhmut of such critical importance when there are other defendable areas and potential supply routes ?

Seen elsewhere: Ukraine fights a media war for the Western audience. Ukraine relies on Western support and Western politicians want to see results in form of territory, which is no result at all in military terms, if you cant beat the opponent's army in the process.

Horrific losses be damned - and they are horrific - but with a sycophantic media, their own losses can be obscured. They can even *claim*, without warrant, equally horrific Russian losses and the media will not report otherwise.

BUT ground acquired OR HELD is verifiable and enough to convince many that Russia is getting what-for.

No, seriously because : "The truth is the opposite because" ... that's how Russian propaganda operates. LOL
